Good One Portable Air Compressor's are often over looked in a survival kit. Their have been many people murdered on the side of the road because of flat tires and being stranded.
+gunskniveswatches Does the little square part on the handle that is almost touching the round headbolt ....does it slightly move on yours if you push it? SO basically the furthest most part on the handle from the Actual Tire Pressure Gauge. Black Square part closest to the round silver head....that's what i want to know if you hold it and wiggle it if it slightly moves?
*This is INSANELY nice.💫 **allabout.wiki/Viair** i got a Bostitch 6 gallon pancake and the regulator broke, and it was stupid loud. Also, the gauges barely worked. it wouldnt even power a die grinder. But this little dude ROCKS. Its not only 1/4 as loud as the Bositch, it works like a fine tuned machine should. Kudos to California Air Tools! This performs EXACTLY as advertised. Cant beat the price either.*
I've had the SLIME kit for about two years. it is OK, but I dont trust it. It gets REALLLY hot and I worry that its gonna fail at any time. Thanks for sharing this, i've been looking for something a bit more robust. Heck, i'm even considering installing a mounted unit with small ari tank on my truck, but that dosnt help me if im in a diff. car, obviously.
Does anyone know what is the ID size of the hose, would like to replace the chuck and need to cut the hose and add the barb, but not sure what size barb I need.... THANKS whomever...
I have the ones using the cigarette lighter and they suck, keep blowing my fuse out, I'll probably end up chainging the power cord to one with alligator clips.
Voltage drop is the same between AC and DC given the same circumstances( conductors gauge, amps, distance). But is true I rather have less cable and more hose than the other way around just 20 feet cable is like 3 volts.
