He is like 5 6 or something, though a lot of the people he films with in person are like 6ft+ for some reason. It is very hard though to believe he isn’t 7 foot though due to his huge presence on camera
I can picture it already. A boy trying to get a girls attention, so he throws an incendiary grenade through her window, burning her house down and killing her family in the process, then they have the best date of their lives.
WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! Let me get this perfectly straight: You comment something that is completely unrelated to the fact that I have two HAZARDOUSLY HOT girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest RU-vidr worldwide, it is really incredible. Yet you did not mention it at all. I am VERY disappointed, dear spldagray

I genuinely feel like Charlie’s shorter than 5’6. That’s only like 3 inches shorter than average height and his friends both tower over him, so if he’s 5’6 then they both must be like 6’3 +
10:30 bro the camera rotation along with the silence and the “this opens up all kinds of possibilities............the future is now bois” it was like I was sent to heaven and Jesus was showing me the ways of the holy.
Charlie is so tall that he has to let his friends wear stilts so they can look taller than him. This is actually a reference to the long running joke that Charlie is short, which comes from the ironic statement that he is not seven foot tall
For new archers this helps, but it trains bad habits, it also wears down your bowstring faster, so you'll want to learn a good grip from the get go. I've done archery for a couple years now and I rarely get "String Slap" only when I'm super tired and getting lazy with form. Good form means no string slap and you actually get a stronger pull strength, think of the difference between raising your arm normally and doing it in a martial arts or yoga setting. Controlled is better for your muscles too. In terms of joints and reverb. Like bending your knees a little when you skateboard.
@@storytellerplays I did archery for like 1,5 year and we had to use a bracer, but i have never ever gotten string slapped, but we had one guys string snap and cut his arm open even with a bracer
It's so out of character knocking it out in more socially acceptable ways. I had imagined catapults and a moby huge soaring gracefully through the sky of this gym.
"how do I not let the string skim my arm", "you bend your arm". - a light bow for a beginner for fun maybe, but you DON'T bend your arm that's holding the bow. If your arm is straight and of fairly normal thickness and string travels straight, and those are at an angle (not exactly parallel obviously), there is no reason the string would touch your arm. Some people have elbows that when you hold the arm straight it naturally bends the arm inward a little, which may cause string to make contact, in this case you still keep the holding arm straight, but wear a guard.
@@EllaBananas ya you don't really intentionally lock your elbow (and you don't grip the bow with force. You simply using lead hand to push/keep it forward in position. That's why if you watch the professionals or Olympic shooters, their bow have a separate tie to their arm so it naturally just drops after the arrow is let go, minimize any variable that can be caused by gripping the bow) For most people their arm naturally are at a pretty straight position when they hold/pushing the bow, while the other hand draws the string, so they don't have to think too much about lock or not lock the elbow. Since your arm bends you generally practice holding it straight and probably wears a guard, especially at beginning.
Also when he said you bend your elbow and was teaching the dude how to shoot anyone who has done archery probably know what I was thinking at that moment.
@@magnacrushersart572 dear sir, never forget behemoth’s behemoth, the most nostalgic sound track ever, the best of the best........ *C A S T L E C R A S H E R S*
If you're trying to break a window you want to aim for the corners because the vibrations absorb the initial impact if you hit the center whereas the corner only has the wall to pull against and the stress will make it fracture. Also, you need to use something really hard not necessarily heavy. The window literally got pushed out by the force of Matt's throw lmao, I love that.
@@QonQueso no you are not dumb and i wasn't trying to be a smartass but i was just saying that because it just popped in my head when they were surprised by how light it was
I always remember the news telling us not to tape windows like that before a hurricane. This is because if the window does break, it might break into bigger shards that are more dangerous if they are carried by the wind. The smaller pieces would less likely to hurt someone. Just like how windows in a car are made of tempered glass which is designed to shatter and not break into large pieces. Plus the tape supposedly is a pain to get off after it heats up in the sun.
Huggbees might be my favorite youtuber, and yet I've literally never noticed that was him in Charlie's videos until now. The sunglasses really are a massive part of his aura, huh?
Fun fact: The X's made of tape are used on the headlights of rally cars in case they pop the glass during a race. It DOES work for keeping them in bigger chunks, on top of making it easier to clean up. Less of a risk to other drivers on the track.
Charlie really do be livin' a boy's dream. "Why'd you set a fleshlite on fire, then try to shoot it while driving a go-kart?" "'Cause I thought it would be funny."
I work in the industry and I can tell you that’s metallic hydrogen. That stuff is hella expensive, I’ve only worked with it twice. It’s basically just mega glass. Don’t get confused by the metallic in the name. Shuts clear as the air. It’s literally the next step in human evolution. Amazing you guys could afford some of it.
It’s how I was taught how to make it so the string doesn’t hit your arm when it flies around. Normally you would use a guard thingy on your arm but if you don’t you should bend your arm away a bit
@@octocreeper8182 Even with your arm straight as an arrow, the string should never rub against your arm upon release. That's why you have the archer's pose, you want to keep your hand and fingers lined up with your jaw so that when you let go the string smoothly releases nowhere near your arm
Fun fact: the tape X on the glass is actually used on some race cars, if you see a car with a tape x on the headlights, it’s because in case it crashes, the tape prevents the glass from going on the track and popping other cars tires
@Leonardo Santuario between someone who knows why they put black tape on project race car headlights...and someone who hasn’t figured out how to set up a pfp...I think it’s obvious which one is the nerd
@@lowpolyrender612 You need your hand that holds the bow to be unbent and pushing forward towards your side while your hand that pulls the string to pull it back to your cheek. They're using a toy bow with little draw weight so wrong technique probably won't injure them but people need to careful while shooting higher draw weight bows, wrong technique may lead to serious injures. There are many great videos on how to shoot a bow so you can check them out if you're still curious :) 5
Fun fact, your car windscreen uses a similar theory, two pieces of glass sandwich a piece of plastic in the middle which acts as like a layer of tape between the glass so when it breaks, none of the glass comes apart. It can shatter but won't smash into pieces showering you and your passengers like your side windows would
