One key thing you forgot to mention is you have to type in these values yourself on the right side of the color selection bar and hit enter to apply. If you're just dragging the bar, it caps at 1. Mentioning this as a friend linked this vid as they couldn't figure out how to get the color selection to go higher then 1. *using the color bar* has to tell them to type in the value and not touch the bar after to make it work.
Nothing I have tried gets me what I want with a pillar. It would have helped to show the process from start to finish. Not a criticism, just noting that there might be some people like me who can't get the most basic thing working in terms of coloring a pillar. For example, I don't know what the two different colors do, for a basic thing like a pillar. Does the bottom color matter at all? Do they both need to be set the same? Might help to tell people it appears you need to delete the pillar, once you have applied a color, to apply a different color. Your values work pefectly by the way if I set both colors to your exact values. But if I try to set a custom color, applying the HSV to both values, it's wrong. There's some voodoo, at least using the sliders?
