When you end up with lots of screws, bolts, nuts and washers, it's hard to just toss them, because they're worth so much. I love this. I hope you reach a solution for other parts!
Nuts and bolts are literally bought by the pound. This video just convinced me that I am better off sending all my 5 gal buckets of misc bolts to scrap and then buying 100 of everything I may need from Fastnal with some organizers. manually sorting each individual nut washer and screw is the type of thing thats only going to save you money if you do not value your time.
@@pinkhead6857890 I agree with your thoughts. The time and effort and energy put into sorting them is simply not worth it. I would rather drop them off for scrap and get a set of what I need. Although bolts and screws can get real expensive real quick sometimes. However, enjoyed the video and at least the concept.
@@Chazz155511 I dont know what big scrap yards are in your area, but you can get insane deals on hardware from salvage yards like DH Griffin. I'm talking unopened boxes of grade 8 hardware for 25 cent s a pound. It's insabe what construction companies will throw out from multi million dollar projects. Now that is when nut and volt scavanging is worth your time!
