@ThePacmandevil that's like someone telling you to stop being stupid. You can't always change something just because you might want it. Well, technically it might be easier to stop being poor than stop being stupid, but I am sure you can't see that.
@@republicofnoobs7483 yes for me it just randomly stopped happening i opened the back and cleaned out my fan them i let it sit for a few days and it automaticly stopped
'i decided to make sure that the noise was actually coming from the fans' there are no moving parts but the fans in that laptop. there was no hdd the fans are the only moving part. and they could have been fixed its probably a little out of place or some metal needs some bending that replace was unnecessary.
The system had a system issue In it's system. Maybe fix the system to system the system. Another good idea to fix the system is to systematically system between the system fans in the system. Then find the broken system fans in the system using this system and systematically system them out. Then install a new system fan for the system into the system. System. System
I would stop each fan with my finger to see which one had the issue. If it was fall damage the metal case of the fan may just need to be bent a millimetre or two.
I am baffled at the fact that these many people in the comments can't understand that repairing just means bring something back to good condition, either by doing something to the faulty parts so they can work properly again or by straight up replacing them, depending on how cost efficient is each option.
Didn’t even say what caused the issue. Like yeah the customer dropped it but how did it affect the fan? Did a blade break? Was there something dislodged? Was the whole fan tilted off flat axis?
yeah legion 7s fans are goddamn soldered to the heatsink its so stupid, you literally need to buy an entire new heatsink with fans attached, if just 1 fan goes bad, its so stupid lmao
my laptop didn’t turn on after cleaning the fans. then while i was unscrewing it again to check for mistakes, fans started working in a rythm and i can hear some kind of clocking-ticking? is that a normal thing to happen? i didn’t break (hopefully??) anything and did the cleaning carefully.
This randomly started happening to my Lenovo Legion that’s less than a year old on one of the fans and it’s so loud/grindy that I’m losing my mind. I’m too worried to take it apart tho and risk screwing something up. Will probably need to bring it somewhere, ugh
Update: took the back off and although the fans looked clean with no dust, I brushed them off and blew canned air on them a bunch. Put the back cover back on and booted up the computer, been playing games on it for a few days now and have not heard the noise anymore! Let’s hope it stays that way.
Been having same issue for a week now. Did the noise start once laptop is on or when you add some load on the laptop or fans gets faster? @@11naminechan
@@bufalosanI’m sorry to hear that cleaning the fans didn’t work, did you take it apart and really clean them? Fortunately the issue has not come back for me! However, make sure you have all the latest windows updates as well as that could potentially be part of the problem. Let me know if you were able to fix it!
I opened the laptop and realised that you just have to clean the cooling line from fan to the processor. Which had a lot of dust hence the cooling does not reach the processor and the speed of the fan will always increase and generate noise. I don't think changing the fan is a smart solution.
@@benvanoers1118Retard alert! It makes no sense to fix some parts, in fact, fans aren't fixable without expensive equipment. And they cost 15 dollars each new. Not really worth the hassle.
