The Vice Chancellors of Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Professor Debbie Prentice and Professor Irene Tracey, shared a platform for the first time at the Women in STEM Festival, a two-day national conference held on 26-27 October 2023 at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge.
Addressing the barriers and opportunities facing women in STEM, they raised the prospect of active collaboration between the two ancient universities to tackle the challenges that still persist for women in STEM studies and careers.
This short clip is taken from a longer film of the whole panel session. Visit our RU-vid library for films of this and other sessions.
Murray Edwards is one of only two all-female higher education institutions in the UK. It was founded in 1954 as New Hall.
