My dogs and even my cat does this. We have this small stone step path that goes through the middle of the grass towards the playground and they always use that to get to it lol when they could literally walk on the grass and cut corners.
The silence of the hedgehogs during battle is truly terrifying. There could be an army of them forming outside anyone's door at any moment, and they'd never know until it was too late. What terrifying monsters.
What we don't see is the scale of these monsters - a UK Hedgehog is at least 50ft tall, but as quiet as a Ninja. I welcome our future, Hedgehog Masters...all hail!
@@janelle9998 actually, I agree on @Legacy too.. cause even in my country I get frustrated when people don't use the sidewalk properly. Like literally people yell at each other (people on sidewalks and people driving on the streets) as if it is each others fault. While I am on a sidewalk literally walking past SMH at them. It is kinda disappointing :( but it is still my country.....

Because 'hog#2 wasn't scared of/sent running by its vicious attack, 'hog#1 realized it couldn't scare #2 off. Animals are very adverse of risking their own lives, little wounds are deadly because of infection. So #1 saw the better part of valour was retreat and left before it could risk harm against the stubborn #2.
Hard to tell who won the fight. But obviously, the one who hasn't eaten yet is hungrier and has no motivation to leave until beaten a lot harder than that.

I looked it up recently, and apparently Sonic is a hedgehog because one of the game creators/designers went to New York and showed people a few concepts, and apparently hedgehog design won out. I have no idea why, but it did

hehe they are so adorable. Anybody who hasn't heard these in person before, you would be amazed at the different sounds they can make and just how loud sometimes as well.. I go fishing very often and sometimes for days at a time both here in Germany and all over the world really and the number of times over the last 30 years I've had literally a dozen or more hedgehogs outside of my fishing bivvy in the early hours trying to search out bits and bobs ive left laying about all whilst scaring the crap out of me, I've lost count... I often feed them and also move them away as I don't want them to eat to much of my baits I've left laying about lol. I love them as they are adorable but sometimes when you just wake up and hear them right by your bed but you are in the middle of a pitch black field somewhere at 2am and are totally alone, believe me the noise they make can scare you lol. Although the screams foxes make beat them by some margin lol Anyway Cool video, lovely little animals, like all animals are really.
I'd love to live somewhere where there are wild hedgehogs. They're so cute 😊 I'm living vicariously through people who post RU-vid videos of their hedgehog buddies.
I witnessed a fight like this just a few minutes ago, and the one who lost also ran away using a small man-made garden path. It’s pretty funny that they just do that.
I mean for hedgehogs that was actually a nasty little encounter there they both bit and were thrashing and I can tell you they bite hard they can latch onto your hand when they do.

Bruh I swear I got a hold of 1 of those the other day haha, I didn't sleep or eat right for 3-4 days haha it was actually kinda fun actually haha I hate to say haha, I got another 1 in the other room right now, I'm most likely gonna flush it haha, even though I'm out, strangest buzz of my life haha. Haha yeah it's not my thing though, not big on Damian roaches haha, I heard MS-13 likes selling them in Mexico though haha, I recently saw on vice news. Yeah I got into some bad s&$# the other day haha, but I've thankfully, returned to normal now finally haha. I got hold of 1 of those Damian roaches and was going around almost fighting people haha (my mentality) and driving all crazy haha! ... yeah man, stay away from those Damian roaches bruh haha.
I spent some time, caring for them in a wild life hospital, although they are extremely adorable, they do hiss, grunt and bite. Their teeth are blunt, but a nip does hurt.
@@sursomsatan1225 Actually punctured eyes in a hedgehog is caused by birds attacking them, they go for the eyes. I rescued a small hog, that was being attacked by a crow, the crow had pecked the babies nose, and made it bleed. The hog is now hibernating in my hog house.

It's unusual to come across someone with my surname, I hope you like hogs as much as I do. They are quite complicated creatures. I found out a lot, while doing some wildlife nursing at a rescue hospital.
He honestly just left he look at him for like a minute to see if he wanted to keep fighting and he didn’t respond so he just left. No need to keep wasting his time there with someone who doesn’t like him

I let my male hedgehogs, father and son, out of their individual cages to roam around the floor. I left them for a minute and when I got back, they were already fighting more viciously than on this vid. They just don't like company of the same sex when they reach certain age. On the other hand, my female hedgehogs get along just fine together. They are playful but not to the point of hurting each other.
