On wanting Slash to join POISON (07.16): "I was the manager of Poison and I liked Slash a lot. I knew him when he was in Black Sheep. I just thought he would be great in the band. He got the gig and the Poison guys expected him to be really excited, but he said, 'I'm not going to wear all the make up,' and that didn't sit well with Bret."
Steven Adler (time 20.07): "Steven has such a sweet spirit. When I managed the band he wasn't messed up on drugs."
