Hopefully that’s because you’ve never taken the time to try to understand the actual lives of the people who fall for stuff like this. Mental health issues (grief, depression, etc…) and a poor quality of life are something most of these people have in common. When you can’t wrap your head around something, especially when it’s a common occurrence, your judgements about that thing, that you’re blessed with not understanding, say a whole about the type of person you are. Some are simply ignorant, but others are just bad people.

I do. Humans are complex and face many challenges and how different journeys per person. I would never understand what it’s like to be in that position he’s in..
