The producer of the beat is Tempoe, he coproduced love nwantiti with CKay, one of the highest selling records of all time from Africa, produces for omahlay, alcohol by Joe boy, etc and now this. Tempoe is on fire 🔥 the last 3 years. I feel Nigerian music producers are the most creative in the world, and they don't get enough flowers. 💐
Great job Tempoe...this production is soothing, mesmerizing, ever memorable, aphrodisiac. Should be the official anthem of the World Cup! Yeah..I said it💯🙈
Thank you Nigeria for endless entertainment, from comedy, music, movies and every trend on TikTok and now ASMR. Imagine Africa without Nigeria. As a Kenyan I want to say thank you for putting smiles on our faces.
Mannnn…I love my continent. No race I’d choose to be than an African man if I reincarnate 1000 times. Mark my words, westerners and all other races will start immigrating to Africa in not too distant future.
I am proud, despite I am Romanian , my wife she is Mozambican, and she is the best women în this world and I have a big respect for african no matter from what part of africa.!!!

I fell in love with Haiti when I read the book - The Black Jacobins, by CLR James. I fell in love with the Characters of that profound revolution - Dutty Boukman, Toussaint Louverture, Jean Jacques Dessalines, Cecil Fatimon, and Henri Christophe. I hope to name my son after Dessalines. I hope I can visit the proud nation of Haiti someday and see the citadel and other historic sites. One love from Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
From what I understand, he's using the word "Soweto" to compliment the woman's backside. It's an indirect compliment to the Soweto girls in SA. I'm guessing the word Soweto became popular after Nigerian guys started travelling to SA and linking up with local girls. Lots of Nigerian musicians use figurative speech in their songs. They also make up words which are new to even Nigerians. I'm Nigerian, and I'm pretty much guessing what some of the words mean.
@Sosa I THOUGHT I HEARED A WORD MAPHORISA SOMEWHERE UR LYRICS AND AS SOON AS I DID I THOUGHT ABT A SONG BY MAPHORISA FT WIZKID WHICH WAS ABOUT SOWETO TOO N THOUGHT MAYBE IT ALSO INSPIRED YOU TO DO THIS ONE...I WAS GUESSSING UNLESS I HEARED WRONG....BY THE WAY THIS IS MY FAVOURITE SONG THESE DAYS NOT ONLY BECAUSE ITS ABOUT SOWETO BUT BECAUSE THE IS SOMETHING MELODICALLY AND SPIRIT TOUCHING ABOUT IT THAT I CANT EXPLAIN....ANYWAY SOWETO MEANS 'SOUTHERN WESTERN TOWN"....AND IT ALSO MEANS , 'SO WHERE TO" ?....IT WAS A QUESTION ASKED BY THE REVOLUTIONIST AND THE YOUTH OF 1976 WHENEVER THEY WERE TAKEN BY THE APARTHEID GOVERNMENT AWAY FROM THEIR HOMES AND FAMIRLY TO PRISONS AND EXECUTION SINCE THEY DID NOT KNOW WHER TO FROM THEN WHILE ON THE WAY IN POLICE VANS ...SO WHERE TO?...ITS A WORD WITH HISTORY....AM SOUTH AFRICAN...THANKS FOR MAKING THE SONG.
If you are here in 2090, I was here in 2022. VICTONY was a young artist who came from Grass to Grace & was very talented. He was among the best musicians of his generation. In 2022, Nigerian music was doing absolutely well, getting even better everyday and it was loved worldwide. We Nigerians we're proud of this success story. Hope the world is a better place in 2090? Stay safe and be a nice human. ❤️🇳🇬
To all my African brothers and sisters. From African Americans… can we please unite and take back our world.? I’m tired of this bs we going through. I’m willing to die behind this movement as long as we compete our mission
Thank God for His divine hand of healing over Anthony Victor's life after a fatal accident that almost took his life and got him trapped in a wheelchair for a very long time.. Thank God he's able to make the long awaited video to this amazing song. Love from Abuja, Nigeria!
Afrobeat vibe makes feel like i'm in the wrong side of Africa, South Africa. It's hard in South Africa where I'm at to find to find this type of vibe and people that appreciate it. I'm a shy person that find it hard to be moved by any music but when it comes to a track like this one i am instantly transformed
I'm Nigerian, and I understand everything he's saying. He's speaking a deeper kind of Pidgin language, which is Alternatively referred to as broken English, which is why you hear some English words and don't understand the rest. The first line, he says: Kolo your brokoto no go dey slogodo oh (Means: show me what you got don't dull me) Body dey draw me like Ogbono oh (Means: to understand this, you need to know what ogbono is. Ogbono is a Nigerian soup that is elastic or so. It's a stretchy soup, kind of like rubber. So he's saying her body draws him like Ogbono) Body dey risee my tonono oh (Means: your body looks so good you got my blood flowing and my THING standing, like your body turns me on) Girl make I salute your commodore oh (Means: Girl I salute your vibe/style) Girl if I lap your Soweto, Na Maphorisa (Means: firstly, there's a song by Dj Maphorisa ft Wizkid titled Soweto, so if you know the song, you'll get his meaning, but still, he twists it metaphorically, so his lyrics means "if I come to your place (if I lap your soweto), we will do some explosive and mind blowing things (na Maphorisa) Girl if you balanciago, I give you paper (Means: Girl, if you set and you down, I'll give you money) Tunde don dey craze oh, eh for your waist oh (Means: Tunde[a person] is going crazy over your body/waist) And I go pay for your lace oh, dey for your waist oh (Means: I will pay just to make sure I have you, just to get with this waist) There's more to the meaning, but you got to be Nigerian to get the exact and core vibe and meaning
Nigerians are still misunderstood.. When we love a person that person would have no doubt that we do... this song is praising the spirit of SOWETO From Nigeria 💋💋💋💋💋💋❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is probably the best song to come out of Nigeria. The instruments are so unique and calming. I hope whoever produced this creates more unique and calming sounds like this.
Temple is the producer , he is the guy in the light green shirt and tan trousers! Bring leaned on by singer Victony! He also produced Soso for Omah Lay! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!
@@ainamanijoshua1480 That’s a distinctly Nigerian sound. No matter where it’s made i can recognize it. It’s like plagiarism to not acknowledge the source.
Afrobeats is NOW! The future is now We are just patiently waiting for when we can have a leader to be reckoned with in Nigeria pls pray for us to get it right in our 2023 general election in Nigeria 🇳🇬❤️ love Africa 🌍
@@tumisotumiso2571 unfortunately, you can’t beat the reach. Nigerian sound is far gone. Take advantage of the opportunities it has exposed Africa to or remain where you are
Finally! Been listening this song every day since it came out. Can't stop singing and dancing to it. I love it! I'm a white lady from The Netherlands but you bring out the Africa in me hahah Bless y'all!
@@vevj1275 I've heard! Already made a playlist in Spotify called 'Frican Heat (Freaking Heat, you get it) Mostly Negerian music, but also from other African countries, you're music is lit! 🔥🔥
A Kenyan lady that I work with in Toronto said that Nigerian music touches her heart and soul. Her comment made me laugh. As a Nigerian, I take our music for granted, because we all grew up playing it with, agogo, udu, shekere, small slit log drum, clapping, flute and rhythm drum. The new generation of Nigerians added modern musical instruments, and creatively layered the raw, local rhythm with western melodies. The rhythm has always been with us. And you can hear many variations of it playing in every corner. That's why we take it for granted. I am glad many people love Nigerian music.
