Good buy! And a nice little rumble seat coupe in the background.

I got one on my channel from a close friend who was came to NJ from PA to clear out his parents estate and moving to the Carolinas . It was a wider one than you have with the sides packed with records. It had some issues. Some delamination. I tried to put it up on marketplace but there were no takers. We had it playing a record on my video. It kills me that it probably went on the dump. I certainly had no place for it.

One of the Orthophonic machines from the late 20's, not something I play with too often. I am mostly teens and early 20's machines, but I could have made that play. The records, reproducer, and booklet would have had me likely buying the machine if I found it local. Assuming it was packed full of 20's Jazz records.

Hi! I just purchased a VV210. It was advertised as working, but the crank doesn’t get the motor spinning. I need to access the motor but unfortunately the soundboard on top has nuts underneath the screws so I can’t get it off. Any idea on how to access it otherwise? The closest I can get is through the gaps in the horn cabinet. I can email pics if you’re willing to help! Thank you so much.

Sounds like someone has been doing some post Victor ' adjustments" to that machine. The 210 should have a motorboard design like every other Victrola floor model. Unscrew crank, unscrew motorboard bolts, remove turntable, pivot up the board and lift it out. I don't understand why anyone would nut and bolt the board down. Motorboard screws do sometimes strip out, but the motorboard will go right on working just fine without them. Victor made it easy to remove the board because the motor does require frequent attention when the machine is played at the daily level it would have been in the 20's. You can send pictures to rockisland1903victrola@gmail.com and we will see if it can be sorted out.
