For some of the cheerleaders -the DCC was their goal and final stop. I think Victoria has many more years ahead of her as a dancer, teacher, performer. NYC opens up new paths and a chance to grow. It was the right decision, and best wishes to her!

Her story was the one that hit my heart. I'm so glad she's in a better place physically and mentally.

After being a huge fan of the show, for so many years, I was so disappointed the way Kelly and Judy spoke to Victoria during her exit interview. I was shocked that she was not chosen as a leader on her squad. They seemed to be surprised that Victoria wanted to be in a leadership role and seemed indifferent if she came back or not. She was the best dancer on the team! I think I will pass on future seasons. Good luck, Victoria!

I wanna add for whoever only watched the Netflix special and not making the team, you’re missing a piece of the Victoria story. Her first 2 seasons, she was a star, she was show group, she was called out as being one of the best from all the guest choreographers, very much on her way to be a group leader and possible point. They loved her. Then something must’ve changed or happened by her break.

Victoria wanted to be a Leader and to have that love shown to her in the interview and it didn´t happen. It was hard to watch her heart break on the video. Now looking at this interview she looks so beautiful, her eyes have so much shine and hope. Wish her the very best in the future.

Victoria was a lesson for DCC. Shes hungry for growth and leadership and they didn’t help her get there. She is the face of the DCC and the most popular one, and they failed to capitalize on that. It exposed a lot of issues tho. Hi Charlotte, hope youre having a good day

The way Kelly and judi treated her was abhorrent. They acted like they couldn't have cared less if she was there or not. So disrespectful to the tremendous amount of effort Victoria went to.

Off topic but I love this interviewer. She’s genuine, sincere, kind, interactive while also letting Victoria talk the majority of the time, and she’s ever so slightly awkward in a good way that makes her feel relatable 😂

Congratulations to Victoria for leaving DCC. As I was watching the Netflix documentary called: ‘America’s Sweethearts’ I found it so sad how they treated you and the other girls. Do not put your trust in other people to make your life great. Jesus has plans for you. If you teach children dance you are loving Jesus and those kids. Victoria, I think you are becoming stronger as a person since you were able to say, “no” to coming back to DCC. It was good that you realize they were not going to put you in a leadership role. I noticed you were teaching dance and at times helping others with the dance routine. The DCC leaders may have seen all the times you were helping others with the routines but they chose not to value your giving help with routines. Life is about loving and helping others. God values and what you are doing. Trust in Jesus, He says that even if you give a cup of water to a child, you will have a reward in Heaven. Do what you love- teaching dance. The things Jesus values are far greater than what the team leaders believed about you. Please God and not man. I would encourage you to do therapy to help you see how the DCC leaders were gaslighting you and the other girls. I think the very best thing you are doing for yourself started the day you did not go back to DCC. Find true peace in God’s word the Old and New Testament.

What I want to know and have not heard her address this, is how did these feelings Victoria had of not feeling they wanted her back in a leadership role, affect her mom and Kelly's relationship (knowing they are best friends). Was Victoria's mom upset with Kelly and has their friendship now changed (Victoria's mom & Kelly's)?

i feel like they were punishing her for speaking out about her eating disorder and mental health. she was so brave not letting the documentary just see all the glitters and gold

I honestly don't understand what they are looking for as a leader of the team. Victoria had everything that they were looking for in a DCC and they acted like they didnt care if she didnt come back. so it was odd I dont understand.

Victoria got picked on. Full stop. I don't care how nice everyone seems. They treated her poorly in the most covertly aggressive ways I've ever seen.

Now it makes sense, one scene in the Netflix series showed her overweight, didn’t realise it happened after she left

I guess I’m of the minority here. I thought she had a bit of an attitude that would not have been what’s expected of a leader. And I went through ups and downs of liking her, but I hate to say I just didn’t think she had the right qualities for leadership. Regardless, it’s their decision and we obviously didn’t get to see everything that happened, but I suspect something happened that we didn’t see that influenced the decision, too.

All I got from her scenes on the Netflix series was that she was a pick me girl. she didn’t have the IT factor. I’m surprised she even made it 4 years in dcc

This girl was a hot mess emotionally soo needy constantly.. & her mum still pushes her when she shud be in therapy & away from dcc.

I have been stop watching this show. I have saw many black girl who was good and they always found a way to not pick them. Out of the thirty six girls you may see two black girls. Those two ladies are racist when it come to picking a squad. She did right to leave if I was her I would not go back.They need to fire both of them I have been stop watching the show.

🙄So needy. “Oh, validate me! Validate me” Inconsistent dancer. Emotionally immature. Entitled. She did a hatchet job on the DCC in the Netflix series because she didn’t get what she wanted.

Victoria Judi and Kelly don’t want you as part of the team. Period.
