My favourite neighbourhood I have ever lived in was Fernwood. If I ever move back to Victoria, that is where I would like to live. I also like Hillside Quadra Village
HI Rayne! I love Fernwood as well. It's got such a cool vibe to it and I love the proximity to downtown and also the architecture of many of the character homes there!
Hi Alan, nothing specific to apartments though I do have a Buying 101, and Mortgage question and answers series which you may find useful. What kinds of apartment specific questions were you hoping to have answered? You very well may see them come out as a future video!
@@RobinVicRealtoryou seem to be very knowledgeable about Victoria, (Oak Bay area). It would be nice if you could help me out finding a 2 brd rental apartment/condo in the fall!😊
I love Rockland! I have had a few amazing townhomes listed there recently. This one is something special: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8CWis4MQkmI.html
Hi Abie, North Saanich and Sidney would be closest to the airport. Though all of Saanich is relatively close. I recommend taking a look at the interactive map on my website to get a better visual of these areas. www.vicproperty.ca/
We were in Victoria 2 weeks ago and it was" love at first sight" Plannning to move there in 3 yrs. when my wife retires from work . Close proximity to Airport and Hospital. Any suggestions pls. Thanks
Depending on how close you’d like to be to either the airport or the hospital my recommendation would be to look at some thing in either Royal Oak or Cordova Bay. Both of those afford wonderful quick and easy access to hospitals downtown along with amenities. Please let me know if you'd to get in touch so that we can connect for a call or a zoom chat. Thanks for watching!
Hi Jorge. You sure can. You have to follow regular border crossing procedures and contact the CBSA or the US Border Services in advance. I'll see if I can dig up some more detail!
Hi Blue Moon. Thats a great question. What type of dogs do you have? I have two samoyeds who require a lot of off leash activity. There are certain neigbourhoods that provide closer access for better off leash options. Those would include West Saanich, Mt. Doug, and many other parts of Saanich and even Langford around Thetis Lake. Feel free to email/give me a call if you'd like to chat in more detail.
@@RobinVicRealtor Hi Robin, thanks so much for your reply! I have a 7 year husky and the other one is a mix of something :P she's smaller but younger, they do require a lot of play time, do you also handle long term rentals?
Hi! I don't handle rentals, but do have a list of resources including property management companies I can send to you if you like? Feel free to email me at info@vicproperty.ca and I will send them back to you!
Hi Robin, great video you have. Do you happen to have connections where I can find a place to rent as an international student in UVIC? Hope you can help me and my wife find a great offer. 😊
Hey there, Thanks for your comment. I specialize in Real Estate sales, so unfortunately do not have any information regrading rentals. I would recommend looking into the rental section of Facebook marketplace, Craigslist and Used Victoria as they are where most are posted. I would also recommend reaching out to UVic's student services for recommendations. Best of luck in you search!
Happy to help! Please let me know if you have any questions as you start your Real Estate Journey. I recommend watching my 'Buying 101' video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JZX0otxmXkE.html ) which will walk you through the steps involved. Look forward to speaking with you again, Enjoy your studies!
