In this segment from the Tour the World travel TV series, we join Park Trek Walking Holidays on a four-day short-break hiking through the spectacular Victorian Alps.
We enjoy four days of superb walks around the Bogong High Plains, returning every evening to a cosy lodge in the alpine village of Falls Creek.
We also visit a number of the high country cattlemen's huts from the late 19th/early 20th centuries, which are dotted around the Alpine National Park.This is a fascinating look back at an early chapter in Australia's pioneering history.
