Thank you for posting these videos! There was a similar show where they went back in time to work like this, but there was also a Lordship and Ladyship. And the only thing I can remember about that show was when the show was about over the Ladyship started crying about it being over and how she enjoyed having everything done for her and one of the maids thinking it was rude that, back in time, the maids had to turn to the wall when the Lord or Lady came near them. Anyone remember that show?????

It would be like, living in a lockdown for months where the rules are that you cannot leave your house and every time you turn on the news you see more and more deaths. Try to keep your sanity while you are practically trapped in your home with your very annoying "family members", but every time you are near them, you have to stay 6 feet away and wear a mask or they are "eliminated" because you are "infected", so every time you see them, you have to worry about hospitalizing and possibly killing them by accident. Oh, and you have to strategically place clean objects (face towels, etc.) around so they don't touch the objects contaminated with COVID and wash your hands almost every hour and don't touch your eyes or nose... And every time you receive mail, you have to figure out how to avoid spreading the germs from that around your house. You also have to ration all your disinfecting supplies, soap, and toilet paper for that month because there's no more. Bonus round: you have kids, so you have to disinfect everything before they touch it because kids touch everything then touch their eyes and pick their noses 24/7.

Thank you so much for enduring this time for our knowledge & entertainment. I've watched this particular series 4-5 times as I'm lost count. you have made me laugh out loud, smile, surprisingly angry, cry with real tears and cringe with disgust. I'm really thankful you brought everything up close and personal as so many people have never been hungry, homeless or cold. So many can't empathize for another soul and they certainly have no sympathy either. I hope this has the hearts of the many who don't believe in giving anyone help as they've either forgotten they or their family received help or they claim there's work for anyone who wants to work. Hopefully, people will open their heats and minds to the fact that one person they claim to this might fit there's another thousand more who won't eat without help. And, no one has the right to speak to anyone has harshly and rudely as those who did at the Work House. It broke my heart when they cruelly locked Ms Anne in the awful, cold room. I'm her age and I know how badly she must've ached from the cold. She was and I'm thankful she did so. I'm sure they were acting (hopefully) but that woman seemed to enjoy speaking to all of you girls terribly. We would've gotten the point regardless. Again, I thank you. You were all my favorites and you were wonderful. Much love from the USA. 🇺🇸🙏❤️🇬🇧

High chance of death. There’s been many cases when young children got imprisoned and sent away due to them stealing an apple and such. Shopkeepers would camp there until they see those thieves and by then, you wouldn’t stand a chance especially if you were a minor.

Too many of them think of this as a joke - they really don't know the hardship and amount of work that went into Victorian lives of the poor. It all seems to be a big joke of laughing about it all instead of actually trying to experience it.

I want more- like a Love Island, Victorian edition. Will you still want to date after two weeks no shower? Will you be happy if your partner steals bread for you, or is that a deal breaker? Problem is, that concept might really cross the line between a reality show, and inflicting psychological distress on people.
