You my friend give the best reviews, I have the inox diver 45mm and after watching your review I do NOT! Regret buying this amazing time piece, thank you keep up the excellent work.
Great review. On my side, have fallen in love with the black version as saw it, purchased. It is both durable and elegant, feels as something serious when on your wrist.
Excellent entertaing review. A mechanical version is out now for double $, but as you said it can't be as resilient. Because of the lume thing, and as I have no issue with a bigger size, I think I'll go for the pro version. Keep 'em coming!
Honestly I want to see a third party torture test these watches and film it. I don't expect the watch to survive every test perfectly but sometimes I feel like some of these torture tests are more advertising than they are torture tests.
True. I will say that the reason I’m looking at these is that a friend of mine - not a watch guy - says his Victorinox is tough. He is a large-animal veterinarian who has hiked the AT, canoed the Mississippi from the headwaters, and walked the Via-de-whatever-it-is in Europe. If he says it’s tough, it’s tough.
I bought this watch and it came in a pelican case with the metal bracelet installed and a rubber watch band included. The metal watch band was a nightmare to get on my wrist and for the life of me I was unable to release the spring bars to remove the bracelet. I had to take it to a watch maker. I ended up buying a 21mm bracelet that had quick release spring bars. In addition I had to cut a notch in the rubber band in order to get the spring bars attached. That being said I really love this watch.
Like a g-shock mudmaster gwg-1000 only more elegant and without world time, 5 alarms, stopwatch, countdown timer, altimeter, barometer, thermometer, compass and no “tough solar”. But certainly a great watch. (I wish there was at least a “chrono version” of that, like seiko skx kind of turn into a ssc015)
excellent video, I have exactly the same watch, and I could add that the extensible is not always so comfortable. It is a durable watch, I have fallen and hit very hard twice, the glass intact and the case is easily scratched. Sometimes I use it with leather strap. More comfortable. Greetings from Mexico.
I appreciate the excellent view of the clock. I would just add that I.N.OX. There is no "ordinary" Nickel Plated Swiss Parts version of Ronda 715 (1 jewel), but Ronda 715 Gold Plated (5 jewel) version Swiss Made with EOL function, making a difference in the caliber of the clock. By the way, my blue color and the glass Victorinox did a great job and made a great watch !!!! I'm following your channel because I am also a fan of G-Shock watches. Greetings for Serbija ....
Veliki pozzZ ! :-D
I just got one of these with the green dial and a bracelet. It's a really nice piece with a high quality finish but my markers are slightly off. I've since learned that even high end manufacturers can have this problem so I'll let it go and just enjoy it.
Vitorinox is a strange brand name of watches in my memory, but after watching the review, I know that there are have more choices for a camping or traveling ideal watches as Vitorinox would offer.
Good morning!! First cup of coffee to start the day n your review, excellent watch had one a while back, excellent watch among the many lol. Thanxs for sharing..
I have the black with the black Naimakka paracord strap exactly as shown at about 6:30 or so in your review. I do like it and it looks great as a dressy casual watch. But the second hand sometimes points to the markers and in other parts of the dial it is off. Perhaps the dial is distorted. Not enough for me to worry about but a bit disappointing. I would expect if you are given a watch to review it would first be vetted for perfection. The paracord strap looks very nice ( I have the camo version on a black Seiko Solar X too) but slips a bit when new and gets much worse with wear. Soon it does not hold at all. I found an acceptable (for me) solution is, after threading the remnant strap through the retaining loop, fold it back towards the buckle but angle it 45 degrees towards the wrist, then tuck it under itself.
I'm thinking about getting that version as well. Is the width of the band on yours still 21mm as on this one or is it 22mm? I've seen contradicting specs listed on both models, actually.
@@charlesbelville5090 I guess I sold the one i commented on a couple of years ago, but I purchased another INOX quartz ref. 241739. Still has that pesky 21mm lug width, but the bracelet is very good and the rubber band is good also.
Because of my small wrist, I was considering INOX V which is 37 mm marketed for women but I find it well sized for me, the problem is they don't offer the bracelet with that size. :(
That lume looks pretty by Victorinox standards. See the lume on the Maverick, it has just the hands and the bezel pip lumed (well it is a "diver", not a diver, after all...).
I love look, size and heft, but, for that money they probably should have refined the mechanism so that the second hand hits the right markers. I held an INOX in a shop earlier this year. When I saw your video, we can still see that the second is not doing what it should be doing. Keep uploading new videos, love your work.
A point of view... In Switzerland (Geneva) If you do not wear un Rolex or a Paneraï you can wear also a Swatch nothing else ni citizen ni casio ni nothing....!!! These geneves are very show off. ??!!!😂😂😂🤑🤑👍👍 Ah i forgot.. i am geneves...
Citizen makes a few very similar watches with their Eco-Drive movement. I wouldn't mind changing the battery myself but I don't like even the idea of losing the waterproofing.
