I bought the last generation model #241714 when they were on clearance at my Victorinox store, got one on bracelet for $140. They had this new version on display too but they wanted over $500. They are certainly improved especially the movement going to the 2892 movement. Very Rolex Explorer on a budget.

The white one 😍👌 which I have, it's actually pearlescent/silver crazy white. I have a DeVille and this is on par with it and am wearing happily daily. The guys who designed this are genius by making such a quality product 👌 it's a TRUE Swiss Made

Hello! I still have it ❤️ daily wear alongside with a BB58 and an Omega 300 white. After 12 months I can say... THIS WATCH IS UNDERRATED! Buy it while you still can find it, worth more than anything under 1000£

@@relojeroargento I would, in the end it resumes to pure taste, the Frosty is not bad and looks appart, looks great but I still think this one is more elegant and better built...

Great review, great shots and commentary, cheers, I love the asphalt dial but just like you I don’t wear a watch that elegant looking, even to a wedding or whatever I’d wear my Seiko SKX (put it on a bracelet) but I do like this Alliance, I had the I.N.OX once which was a great watch for every occasion, anyway, thanks for the video, really good to see it moving rather than just still photos on the Victorinox website, thanks 👍🏻

I love the white dial version. I have a Hamilton Khaki Navy Small Seconds watch with the black dial and chrome hands and as you mentioned, the hands and markers can be a bit hard to read. I think the white would be better in that aspect.

The 2892 is the same eta movement used in alot of IWC watches, and the omega seamaster 300 pre coaxial

Nice watch, an affordable option for similar type that are around $2-$4k. I don't own any Victoninox but I do like the Dive Master 500m, not the quartz and if the mechanical versions wouldn't be pvd coated, I would buy one without any hesitation. The first edition came as quartz if not mistaken, then the mechanical followed but all were pvd coated. Just wondering why on earth they did not release a clean stainless steel version...Thank you for one more great review, looking forward for the next. Edit: 2tone with $50 difference means plating, why would anyone go for that since the plating will wear out in a couple of months. Not to mention a 2tone, steel/gold would make the choice of a wedding ring hard, unless it'll be 2tone too.

I have the leather strap black ⚫ one. What can I say, it's impeccable (for the price) elegant, perfect for my offoce job. Not to blingy not too muted. Had some compliments , it's accurate and had no issues in 2 months of wearing it daily. The only complaint I have is that is a fingerprint magnet and the bezel is so sharp on the edges that it will gather microscratches even from your shirt etc.

I was gonna say $595.I just bought the exact same watch with leather strap for $335 brand new from one of the sellers I trust on ebay.only reason I'm here checking out some reviews is simply so I could find out what movement is in it since it was unclear what this watch actually housed.I was thinking it was either a eta 2824-2 or a sellita sw200 but wasn't 100% sure what it had.I'm actually happy that it's got the 2892 movement which if im not mistaking is the updated and refined version of the 2824-2.I could be 100% wrong on that but either way the 2892 is still a reputable workhorse that should last a lifetime provided its cared for properly and has servicing done on semi regular basis.this along with all my other watches will be serviced every 5yrs whether they need it or not being that I now know how to service my own watches(learning how to service quartz watches next,lol).only thing I really dont like about this watch is the date wheel.being that the dail is black with white writing I think a black date wheel will look soo much nicer not to mention a lot cleaner against the black dail so I will certainly be changing the date wheel out to a black one with white numbers.nice review.

Just bought an equivalent but with leather straps (not a fan of the classic metal links), hopefully it'll be comparable to my seiko presage automatic considering it's at a similar price range.
