The Victorinox wood scales look good. The art on this one is amazing. Always impressed with the quality of construction on these knives. Do you know if the small pry/flat head on the package opener works as a 2D phillips screw driver, like the can opener tool does? Thanks for sharing this wonderful knife.
I could picture you wearing a Christmas sweater that looks like the scales of this SAK...lol 😆🎅🎄All joking aside, thanks for yet another great SAK review. Honestly, I think you're one of the best here on YT at showcasing SAK's, Slippy. 👍Take care and Cheers!
Add a 4th layer, magnifying glass, and in-line phillips screwdriver, and that's my grail SAK. It would be the Explorer 2.0. I hope they do this, or give us the option to customize our SAK's from the factory one day.
It certainly does look goodd ! Oh, and expect the " something dangling " are supposed to be chair lifts. Although you've probably realised that by now. 😃
Waiting for this model to become part of the standard production line. Then, I'm sure they'll make a version with a Phillips instead of the Corkscrew.....and then I'll have my perfect knife.
Hi Matt , lovely looking Vic . Which of your two companions is your fav ? Tricky one ! The only thing I've noticed with those wooden ones is , bearing in mind I've never had one in hand , the wood looks really dry , like it would really drink some oil in . I suspect this is to do with the laser engraving . A stunner . a T B Tony . 🐴🏴
Great review as usual. Smart looking SAK. Victorinox are slowly making unisex models - the other three city themed ones are more female oriented, according to the blurb. For the money I would go for the compact as a gift.
