Faking flybys is a thing that goes back to Soviet times. Famously in the 1950s, the Soviet Air Force flew bombers over Red Square as part of a May Day parade and they circled back around once they were out of sight to make it seem like the Soviets had more bombers to the Western military observers in the crowds.

Can we all agree that this would be the absolute funniest moment for Prigozhin to show up? Like, just rolls up in a tank, shout "I Lived, B!tch!", then runs off before anyone can do anything about it.

what the heck was that weather? some scenes are sunny then cloudy, snow and rain and then back to sunny and dry again.

Digi, the knocking is reference to the "beating heart of Lenningrad" which during the siege of the cirty, a metronome was often played over the radio as a means of warning the citizens about artillery and air raids. Slow for all clear and fast for take cover and became a symbol of resistance in the city and is played every year to mark the minute's silence.

I know it's not the US Military's thing, but I would love to see the US Military organize a big WWII victory celebration parade just to make the Russians feel salty. To me the funniest thing about it would be how long the parade would be because of all the privately owned WWII vehicles/aircraft here in the US. Like the military would do it's thing, then it would be a bunch of weirdos with old tanks, jeeps, halftracks, aircraft. Hell, the Commemorative Air Force would probably try and finish the parade off with a flyby of their two B-29s: Fifi, and Doc. Biggest dissapointment was the complete lack of American equipment being paraded around on flatbeds for overcompensation sake

For context in the meme section, the first Aussie parade shown was a Freedom of Entry parade in Brisbane, featuring the 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry). A single Australian REGIMENT in a PEACE-TIME PARADE puts out more hardware then Russia does! Our ANZAC Day parades must terrify Moscow, then! :D

I'm pretty sure that wasn't CGI, but it definitely was prerecorded. Cameras that are mounted to aircraft flying in formation at low altitude often produce videos that look surreal. Also, I can tell it's real because they can barely hold formation. If it were really CGI, there'd be zero wobbling.

Also, something notable about the fact that we’re allowed to talk about things like war crimes and police brutality in the West is that usually, the types of people who DON’T want us to talk about it are also the types of people to support Russia’s invasion.
