Join the concrete crew as we form, pour, and finish some work on new construction homes. We are still battling weather but we are getting it done one day at a time. I received some really good news at the end of the video.
For real I kept tryna look for his channel until i realized he lost his channel and I was upset all day because I couldn’t continue watching his channel 🥲
@@loganmartin3213 good one .like that comment! My day was as I would come home fore supplies we forgot, my mother would wach soaps and it was " AS THE WORLD TURNS". Boy and it turn alot of people's world when he whent down for a short time. Bet there be sponsors begging for his advertising corner of the market. And does deserve it. He's in the Hot seat look at his views! 👍🏻
Unfortunately, Engineering stamp makes it personal for him. For an Engineer to stamp off they need to be sure. If anything goes wrong and the investigation concludes engineering fault, then that Engineer is liable.
Everyone that works for him should do a walk around, equipment check, etc. That how we did it when I worked for an asphalt company and tree service. Always do pre and post inspections of the vehicles.
Love how you told JR he will have his own Treadmill! I think you guys should all be really supportive and get in the gym together! Nothing beats a good support system an some good ol brotherly motivation! Would love too see all you guys working out together! After all health is everything and we need victory videos for a LONG time yet!!!
He's not a liability lol his main job is driving the truck which he's really good at . Haven't seen him in any accident or cause damage like another driver that used to work there lol
@@charlessullivan1504 sorry anyone who doesn't remember where they got a tool is a liability, but the boss loves him so that's cool. He's also had plenty of incidents, he's a terrible driver which is why Ryan has had to talk to him about things all the time
@cronk4040 pretty sure nothing to do with his driving but there was the hose on the driveway that was left the ray got blamed for by allot of people on here and it turns out it wasn't him lol.
It’s a shame, I was looking at his fb pics and he wasn’t always big, he was much smaller growing up and throughout high school, then something happened but I wish he’d get the help he needs.
Jr. is not well and is not getting better. I hope he gets some help before a catastrophic event happens. Those events happen so fast that medical intervention may not be in time to prevent permanent or fatal damage.
You kinda need people like Ray though. They never truly take responsibility for their mistakes but people like that are what is needed to run companies. They still show up and do their job for the most part and don’t B**** to much. There would be all 1 man crews if everyone was like Ryan, if you think about it lol.
@@charlessullivan1504 all of them should actually. I was talking about who drives the dump trucks, but now I think they all should check levels and make sure ever is good.
It’s not taking advantage when Ryan allows it. He in fact encourages it, because it’s gets people like you bothered enough to comment and help promote channel growth far more than having just the couple of good workers that don’t make rookie mistakes daily.
@@Des420so right. As long as their mistakes cost less money than what they bring in as characters online, every one of them will stick around, as they should.
And also, while some of the guys make mistakes OFTEN, most of them are so minor that it's clear the money Ryan makes off YT is more than worth it. He actually probably includes as many small mistakes as he can in the videos for this very reason 😂
I must say I’m after really growing towards carlito! Just seems like a guy who don’t take it all too serious in a good way! It’s just a ride as bill hicks said! Have some fun and enjoy it! Always saying something funny and bringing good energy!! W Carlito!!
You had a great day and I just had a great day! Just passed everything for my CDL and man ain’t I excited. 23 years old and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me
I’m sorry to say this but sometimes Big Ray makes the stupidest decisions. Why squeeze your self unloading the machine when you can literally pull forward and it will be more easier to unload
TY Ryan for getting him some shirts, he really needs someone like you in his life just because he’s big doesn’t mean he needs to look sloppy and unkept.
Love that we get an hour video after the lockdown I fell asleep watching yesterday I work nights woke up and tried to click play on the video I was on and said account was deleted i was devastated ❤😂
Question , Wet gravel again ? Answer , When loading up on any type rock or sand . the driver needs to raise the dump bed about 30 to 40 degrees to drain the water out before he gets to the scale house. hope this helps.
I don't understand why Ray doesn't inspect his truck an trailer when he drives. That's a priority with vehicles like that. I mean he got jis cdl so I know that taught him ab vehicle an trailer inspect. You need to mention it to him. Also it seems like Ray will do the least amount possible. He shouldn't have to be told but he's clearly has a lazy mentality
One reason the oil cover is missing is that your Driver Ray doesn't bother with doing a PRETRIP-POST TRIP, otherwise he would have caught it and not be SURPRISED
Me and my family absolutely love your videos.Your family is so great!. Keep up the amazing work.. im going through very hard times right now, money is so low and running out of food. I work but i dont make enough. It makes me feel embarrassed as a father to my 9yr old son 😢 i will keep trying my hardest! Please keep us in your prayers.God bless everyone and stay safe!
I have 5 things that make my day better.. #1 is my wife, #2,3,4 are my kids and #5 is seeing you posted a new video! Congratulations on the good news and can’t wait to see the progress of the new building! Audios
I know it's been said before, but Ray (and the others) really need to do pre-trip walk around of their trucks every day. Eventually their failure to do so could cost you big and them their licenses. I know it's another five minutes in the morning, but in the long run you'll be saving that Easy Money! Love your channel - please don't loose it again! Greetings from the Mexican homeland (Spain)! 👍🍷🇪🇸
100% concrete plant didn’t dump out her load before you, in a rush, they just added your load to whatever was left in her truck and sent her on her way. That’s why there’s 2 kinds and ALOT of it. I’d say it was a bad wash out. But there’s too much of it to say it was a bad wash out. Probably had a yard or so left from prior load.
Awesome News for your channel and also on the plans from the city !! Can't wait to see it all starting to come together for you. Well deserved Ryan, you must be proud !
The trailer axle oil fill hub/cap was missing before that truck ever left the yard. You have it on video. Please inspect your trucks. The rules are there to protect your family and others who drive each day upon the roadways. The cost is too high not to.
You guys still expect ray to do literally anything other than show up? You’re gonna be disappointed… his wife has got to be a saint, dealing with captain simple every single day, and raising 9 children for him 😂
@@WorkingOnRocks I think ray means well, but he doesn’t retain any information. It’s got to be exhausting dealing with someone who’s stuck in Groundhog Day, he acts like he’s never done any of this before and it’s his second year.
I disagree I think Big Ray is doing great and is always willing to learn and yes he makes mistakes but he doesn't deny it or say it wasn't me. He owns and it and learns from it.
Before the video showed Z not showing up I was thinking a good worker like that probably saw how your guys are and how nobody uses there heads and was like F* dealing with this… it amazes me how patient you are with your guys! It seems like they don’t learn or even care too…and the email you shared hits the nail right on the head!
Or tired of all the Spanish speaking and feeling left out just like bugs. Would be super annoying to constantly hear yapping in another language you don’t understand. Hours on end
Agree. He had 13 years experience according to Ryan, which is more combined than all these guys combined. He may have quickly seen how many of these bozos supposedly “work” . Who knows… 80 year old is right on. These guys wouldn’t last a day as laborers in my old union commercial concrete crew.
Ryan, you are setting a remarkable example for your kids and all the youth that watch your videos. I have no doubt your children will be happy and successful. This country needs more men like you, strong-willed Husbands, Fathers, and hard workers. I'm a lawn care guy and never thought twice about concrete before watching your videos. I now respect my clients sidewalks, driveways, and patios WAY more. My dad and I used to make gaming RU-vid videos as well, coincidentally his name is also Ryan(RU-vid name Fast Electronic and Loud). Seeing you make content with your children reminds me a lot of my younger years. You are a great boss for teaching your guys how to be business owners and giving them a multitude of opportunities to further them selves.
Ryan you need to really explain to Ray that it is unexceptable to sit there and daydream and run your delivery driver out of water and then really not scencerly apologize. That driver needs to spray the fins off in the drum so the water holes don’t seal shut and the water then will not properly mix into the load. Big Rays name will get back to the plant and drivers will begin to watch him and shut off their water - leave the job and spray the drum out down the road. That lady mixer driver is going to catch Big Ray in the parking lot monster gonna get him he better wise up that is a huge sign of disrespect and being aware of his environment.
Just want to say thank you Ryan. Poured a driveway the other day and everyone was asking if I’ve done concrete work before because of how good I was doing. I’ve done a little bit but most of what I’ve learned has come from watching your channel. Really appreciate it
He does such a good job that I sometimes think I could pour a little square for my basketball hoop. Then I remember I am useless when it comes to handy things.
Nice work lad’s Daryl jr is glad you in his Conner for him and very good too hear the good news about your channel and the new Building 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴Manchester England 🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🙋♂️
If he held them accountable, like if this were entirely real, then they would get fired, and you’d have nothing to be upset about, and wouldn’t comment in the video, thus making his channel grow. It’s controlled drama and stupidity, just like realityTV…
@Des420 nah we've lost fan favorites before...bugs was one of my favorites and I still watch every upload. I think I speak for more than myself when I say we watch for the pillar of leadership and dry humor himself.
Thank you for the video, glad everything worked out with the channel. I'm also glad for a video this morning. I know its abnormal for this channel, but an interview with that builder would be very interesting.
I had a boss that really taught me the quoting and just the business side of construction. One of the best people i know. Its amazing to see you be happy about your guys doing side work. And show them the lead. Your a good man ryan. Guys like you let the lord work through them to bless others.
I think the way you get along with Daryl junior is awesome and where you treat him is a big boost for him and his future and this videos of yours is like a drug to me I'm addicted to him please never stop
Had 2-1/2 trucks of concrete and a pumper show up to pour yesterday. 6 concrete guys showed up at 630a to figure out where to start pouring and cordinating the levels for drainage. The guys that are doing the structure laid out the forms and mesh and rebar the day before are 68 and 70 years old. 1st truck showed up at 730a and they started in the back and worked around the building then the driveway. By 1030 they were done with pouring, floating, joints, finishing and brooming. The 2 guys that built the structure, put up the plywood, prepped it for stucco and installed the drywall is plastering it. They will also install the cabinets and do all the finish work. Of course there was the electrician, plumber, roofer and HVAC guys throughhout. We were fortunate to get the same Inspector at every inspection. My architect got the permits and is coordinating everything. Projected cost for the 2bdrm 1 ba, studio and storage ADU the size of 2-1/2 size 2 car garages is around $300k. I got to cleanup and occasionally be a helper through all of this and I'm 75.
Wish would have had videos long ago , i did concrete like in the late 80s to mid 90s , all types , i would have moved to try work with you guys , your a great boss and concrete contractor in my book , . I enjoy watching your videos , keep up the good work .
I'm so glad JR found a good friend like you. Ecclesiasticus 6:14-17: "A faithful friend is a strong defense: and he that hath found such an one hath found a treasure"
Hey Ryan just an F.Y.I., pencils do not contain lead. They are composed of a graphite and clay formula. The formula determines the hardness of the graphite. The softer the hardness, the darker the line. Softer “leads” also wear out quicker. We had an entire class in Civil Engineering Mechanical drawing about pencil harness. Who’d a thought?
I meant to tell you that the reason that the form truck is taking so long to crank it's a warming problem got to turn the key and let the glow plugs heat up or your glow plugs could be going out but I notice yall just hop in and start turning it over with out letting the glow plugs have a chance
I’m thinking it could be a fuel priming issue. My truck had the same problem, it would crank for a while before starting. It turned out it was losing prime.
I truly understand the respect and the love but this gentle giant has for his workers. Yes they fall short but he doesn't❤ my heart is happy that you have your channel back your hard work is not in vain.
Your kindness and generousity toward Junior is appreciated. He is lucky to have a friend like you. I am disappointed the Z didn't show up. I hope he is doing okay. He seemed to know what he was doing and appeared to work hard. Glad you got you channel straighten out and you back on line.
Use Rain-X windshield washer fluid. Believe me, it’s a major game changer when it’s raining. Helps the water bead up instead of acting like a sheet on the windshield.
