Your last comment truly reveals the depth of your wisdom that at the time of our death, the only thing that we can take to God is what God has already given to us . . . . His Son, Jesus Christ. We cannot take the balance in our bank accounts, our diplomas, the deed to our home, any of our material possessions, the fame and honor that may have been bestowed upon us for all the good deeds that we did while we were alive, or anything else that we might have valued while we were on earth for such a very short time. None of these impresses God or are of value to Him. It is only our FAITH in his Son who serves as our advocate that allows us to be reconciled back to the one who created and loved us for all eternity. Praise and glory be to God the Father, Jesus the Son, and God the Holy Spirt forever and ever, amen!!
