Brother I'm truly hooked on your Channel. A lot of great information great quality video. I do like that you didn't overcook your pork. Thanks so much for sharing your videos. I'll be looking forward to more you videos
Great cook Joe ... That Rack of pork turned out Amazing great color and juicy packed full of flavor .. The OJ gasket and sealer people do a lot of mods on those things. Great job brother
Oh my Joe, I'm hungry now. That Rack of Pork looks really delicious. The Oklahoma Joe Smoker did a good job even with the problems you had with it. Good luck with fixing those issues. Thanks for sharing, Carl and Dawn Homestead
The french cut rack of pork is a good lookin piece of meat. I've done these one time. I saw Malcom do it once. He mentioned removing a certain bone along the bottom of the rack. I obviously didn't and when I went to cut the meat I hit that bone and it was a problem. I noticed you didn't have it. It must have been removed at the butcher maybe. Yea, the OJ have to have some gasket material in places. But it can be fixed with some TLC. Those high end stick burners will spoil your right. Nice job Joe. Lookin good.
Hey there Phil! Yes sir, the chine bone was removed by the butcher. The smoker like you said isn't bad but good lord it sprung leaks all over the place. It's a good thing I work at O'Reilly Auto Parts so I can get a discount on some gasket maker. 😁 You're 100% correct my friend....Veronica spoiled me. 😂
Well crud,Joe! Just saw some racks of pork like that at Costco the other day and passed them up. Now I feel like a dummy for not grabbing one!! May next time
Good cook boss!👊🏿💯 I'm working my way back through some of the old ones I missed years ago.. I almost forgot you were a Cowboys fan too.. 1 more thing we got in common (I'm Joe too) is that an old Roy Williams jersey?
Awesome looking pork rack on the cutting board Joe! Even with the smoker issues, looks like a winner to me! I had to get some high temp gasket from Amazon for my offset. They had the best price that I could find. Also heard of high temp RTV but haven't tried it. Great video..new supporter!! Take care and Happy Holidays!
THANKS BIG JOE …………. U COULD SEE ALL THE LEAKS ON UR VIDEO !!!!! NOW KNOW WHY EVERYBODY MAKES THE MODS TO SEAL IT. MEATCRANIUM BBQ HAS A REAL GOOD VIDEO ON HOW HE SEALED HIS. I THINK NOW THAT WINTER HAS SET IN HERE IN SOUTH GEORIGA I MAY JUST SAVE UP ANOTHER 200 TO 300 BUCKS AND GO WITH THE OLD COUNTRY OFF SET. THANKS AGAIN JOE...……….. TD
That's one serious rack of pork Joe, gotta say I've never cooked one before but it looked delicious. The rosemary on top is a nice touch. Great cook buddy!
Looks great to me! Sorry the cooker did not perform as you wanted it to. I never saw a rack of tomahawk porkchops. I only sa them as singles once too - and cooked this summer when i had the cnace :)
I'll fix it an get it up to par. It's a nice roast to prepare for a party or group of friends. Really easy to cook and the chops came out really juicy! They had a ton of them at Costco and I've always wanted to cook a rack of pork so I said why not. Next time I'll stuff one. 👍🏽
Why buy that Oklahoma Joe when you have Veronica?? Its like having a Corvette in your garage and then buying a Cavalier, except the Cavalier uses more gas. I'm just giving you a hard time. Nice cook. Love your stuff
Dang ,Joe you out did yourself on this cook, it was amazing looking, I really enjoyed this video a lot, it was very clear and you did a excellent job at explaining what to do about how you went about smoking the Rack of Pork. It looked so juicy and especially how tender it turned out, well done my friend, it could have been better had you not worn that cowboy jersey. LMOA AWESOME JOB BROTHER. GOD BLESS YOU JOE.!!!!!!
