Victure HC200. I was surprised by the quality of the pictures and video from this camera. www.amazon.com... #victurehc200 #trailcamera #victuretrailcam
It turns out that this camera is not weatherproof. The first time it rained, the camera had water droplets in the lens. I contacted them and they refunded my money. Buy at your own risk.
Thanks for the information, I remembered getting this back in December 2020 as a gift. I haven’t used it too often, but hopefully I might use it often to the point where I can get some footage of wildlife.
It’s a pretty good camera. Mine wasn’t water proof so when it rains it gets wet inside. But it did dry out and I could use it again. Good luck and thanks for watching
thanks for the video, ive had one for a few years, this exact model, i captured some foxes once, but its not bad, from your warnings i wont use it if its going to rain but ive been lucky with the weather so far, i want to figure out how long it can run continuously but i think thats up to the power supply you use. i use mine now to track who comes into my flat, incase the nosey landlords want to snoop xD
All Victure trail cams HC200/300/400/600 share the same CMOS sensor. It has only 5 Mpix native resolution. The 12/16/20 MPix are just extrapolated images. You'd better shoot at 5 MPix and increase the size with your prefered imaging software/app, the result will be far better and you will save a lot of memory.
Sorry for not responding sooner. For whatever reason RU-vid put this in my response review folder. Thank you for commenting, hope yours works better than mine.
The switch on the lower right. Which position is for “on” and which is for “test” ? There are two positions but the camera is not marked to say which is which.
I gave this camera to my grandson so I don’t have it to look at. Try this, if you turn it on and the menu comes up I think it’s in the test mode. Sorry I can’t be of more help. Their support team is very good at getting back to you if you contact them. Good luck
If you followed all of the prompts in the menu there isn’t anything I can add to that. They were very quick to get back to me when I contacted their support group. I would reach out to them. Sorry
Can I ask, looking at other reviews it shows a red flashing led light on the camera. Does that stop flashing while in use? I am thinking it will alert people to the camera
Yes it stops. Once you turn it on, it flashes for 5 seconds before it begins taking pictures, once closed you see no lights. This camera is waterproof.
Does the camera run continously or will it record when the sensor is triggered only? Can it take both still picture and video? For example, take a picture or 2 first before switching over to video recording?
Thanks for watching. It only records when the motion sensor is triggered. Yes you can take both stills and videos. The one I have is not waterproof. That’s the only issue I have with it. The HC400 is much better and takes much better pictures and videos.
@@PaulllP25 From the manual. FAQ Why is the camera prompts "CARD BLOCKED" and "CARD ERROR" after inserting SD card? (1) Please make sure the SD card is Class 6 or above; the camera maximum supports 32 GB; (2) Please make sure that the read-write function of the SD card had been turned off; (3) Please make sure that you have formatted the card with the camera.
