Hi Kevin, I totally get where you are coming from!!!!! We model ship builders can be our own worst critics because we strive for perfection and even though most would never know any difference- we always know!!!!!! Getting that curve just right port to starboard on the stern windows can be such a huge challenge but when it's done correctly, it's a thing of beauty to admire because it really separate's a amateur level build vs a professional level build in the eyes of a model ship builder!!! Hi Tom I used a 3/64 or .0417 “ but they have many smaller end mills. You can find them here. I just used what i had but plan to order a number of smller sizes. www.travers.com/category/miniature-end-mills The turntable came when i purchased my Sherline mill. They have lots of accessories. www.sherline.com/product-category/accessories/mill-accessories/mill-vise/ they are not cheap though.
