It has been 2 weeks since my prostate removal. In this video I talk about the results of my pathology report which shows no signs of the cancer breaching the prostate. I will also share the status of a most common side effects which are incontinence and erectile dysfunction.

My experiences are identical to what you have said in every way I am 3 weeks post surgery now. Mine was done by top surgeon and da vinci robot. Good luck and speedy recovery

My doctor started Cialis 2 weeks prior to my upcoming surgery. He gave me a prescription for 30 days at 10 mg. At Costco, I got 30 10-mg pills for $20 (generic) so 20 bucks for 60 days is not bad at all. Also, doctor introduced me to a Vacuum Penile Pump Device (VCD)as part of the post op therapy. Hello Mr. Hartley. I have gotten to almost one week after my surgery and am getting ready to deal with after effects once my catheter is removed. Thank for for these informative videos. They are really helping me, both with knowing what to expect and getting me emotionally grounded for what is to come. Best wishes.

Just had my prostate removed 3 days ago here in Australia, thanks to our health system, all free. Been mostly pain free, and after eating prunes, I'm just like a baby. I know you have updates, will try to catch up. Mine was caught very early, and I was easy to operate on.

Great job . Just diagnosed with prostate cancer, scared as hell. Gleason score of seven. 4+3. PSA is 3.8. I think they classified it as grade 3 . My general doctor, phone me up and said to my family history he would recommend a Radical prostatectomy. I talk to the urologist on Monday.

I am having the robotic procedure in two weeks. PSA was at 5.2 but Gleason score 9. I’m 70 years old. One tumor abuts the capsule. Terrified of the surgery but I did not like the thought of hormone therapy. I have been encouraged by your videos! I hope you are doing much better by now. Best of luck.

The pain after surgery is gas pain..thats why the sooner you walk and relieve gas you'll feel much better...usually about 6 hours after

Hi Chris I am so happy that you doing well I just turn 50 had surgery on June -11-19 my catheter was out on June-17-19 in between I had fever so my dr gave me antibiotics on jun-25-19 I’m going se pathologist today is day 11th still have some body ache. and thank you for sharing your story.

Keep fighting!!! Had my surgery on June 19th. Catheter is out now so I’m dealing with the issues that Chris talked about in this vid. We’re all in this together. No one fights alone!!!

I really don't want to deal with all this I'm going through radiation therapy starting in the second week of February having four months of hormone treatment I may be making a mistake but I don't want to deal with that surgery

My doctor was great help. For my daily 5 mg of Cialis, I use a compound pharmacy. They offer a compound in 20 mg squares that I cut into 4 pieces. I pay about $250 for a 3 month supply. I am not sure if I will need to stay on the daily dose much longer and will find out more at my next appointment in Oct. For on demand erections, Cialis was working so I moved to Sildenifil. My insurance cover some of it and I pay about $50 for 60 pills (20 mg). It was taking 100 mg to work so I was going back for refills quite often. I am starting to reduce dosage and hope to be a point where I only need 1 or 2 pills for on demand erections soon.

The doctor told me that based on the size of the cancer, I had probably had prostate cancer for at least years. Prior to surgery my PSA level went from 10 to 13.

Ok I have one more question how did you find out you have prostate cancer?

I was not symptomatic. I went in for a testosterone therapy consultation. They check your PSA because testosterone can be a fuel for cancer. My results came back at a PSA level of 10. I found a urologist the next day and started the diagnosis process.
