I've almost convinced myself I am getting one!! Test ride first of course, but I really want a big single. They apparently are very close to coming to the US. Appreciate your opinion and as always entertaining. Thank you
Thank you, Joe. Back in India, I am not sure about the ASS, even though it's been backed by one of the biggest Auto giants-Mahindra. I hope things are a bit better in US. Cheers!
@@WanderingSom I've also had strong reservations about Mahindra as it seems they have little interest in the US market , glacial progress in getting a dealer network and just a general lack of information. But , based on the overwhelming excellent reviews and the apparent quality I'll be there with my cash.😊
Wow good review, whats your height for reference, you did mention about handle risers, also the rear shocks could be preload adjusted? Should have given alloy wheels as an option(tubeless tyres), which city are you from?
Hello Ravindra, Thank you. I am 5'.7". As I have a back problem, I like to sit a little upright. None of the shockers are adjustable. The rear is quite hard. While it may give you confidence at higher speeds, it might be a bit jerky while going over the city speed breakers. I guess normal alloys wouldn't have been in sync with the retro design, and tubeless spokes would have been very expensive. I am from Delhi. Happy & safe riding. Cheers!
Krrish, the question to answer is, "What kind of a riding to you usually do?" Is it long haul touring, weekend breakfast, city commuter, etc. Choose the bike according. GStar is an excellent machine, probably better than Int650, but the service is pathetic. The cost of ownership is also a mystery for now. Therefore, refer to the question above and make a choice. Happy n safe riding. Cheers!
I cringed when he lugged the engine twice, imagine doing that to a brand new vehicle 😅 BSA please provide dedicated test drive vehicles in your showrooms, don't want to buy something that's been put through such tests.
Hey Alec, you are so right about it. This shows the orientation of the parent company pushing such a marvellous brand / machine. Thank you for writing in. Cheers!
@@WanderingSom ji. Old is gold bhi tho hi na ji. Isliye tho pura model ko hi latest model mey bullet jawa BSA lekar Aya hi. Chahe kitna bhi engine department mey advance ho bore and piston ke jaga mey kya dalsakte 😃😃😃⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️.sensors jyada dalenge service centre ka phai da keliye latest version ke naam pe baas aur kya✅
todo red light. kam se kam itni akal to rakho k ...video mein dikhao apna rules and regulation todne ki aadat! ek rider kam se kam traffic rules ki to ijjat krni chahiye
You are absolutely right. I realized it myself while editing the video. I made a mistake, and I apologize. I will be more careful next time. Thank you for sharing. Cheers!
Hello Srichand, Your feedback is well noted. Were you referring to my knowledge of the technical specs of the bike or the way to showcase the bike? Thank you once again Cheers!
@@WanderingSom You need to put forward your opinions in connection to the technical aspects if you want to become a true reviewers. You should sound professional or else you can continue with your chapri style reviews like Mast gadi he, mast chalti he etc etc. Good Luck
bekaar lag rai hai overall, why would anyone buy this instead of Int 650 , BSA is no brand in India or has any stories here. Int 650 has the twin, the rumble, the speed this has liquid cooled engine as a plus and if its average is above interceptor it may have some demand
On many counts, I would agree with you. One of the most important points that goes in favor of RE is the ASS. Mahindra has done very well with the 4-wheelers, however similar is not the case with the 2-wheelers it seems. Guys at the showroom level had no idea about the service intervals or cost. BSA has a fantastic badge value. Moreover, if you love a single-cylinder, this is the bike to go for. It's way more zippier than Int650. The low-end torque is really crazy. Phehle Test Ride Kara, Phir Viswash Karo! Happy & safe riding.
Wandering som is an experienced rider and a long term owner of the Interceptor, riding it in all terrains . .he is amazed by the engine power and pull. So please judge only after. Riding it .Bsa is not fool to make a single cylinder without any reason...it delivers more power and punch . It's 17 kg lighter ..seat height is accesible seat and riding triangle is better than the Interceptor. The BSA is more punchy and delivers more power early at lower rpms
@vikasupadhyay1398 thank you Vikas for sharing your point of view. In a normal situation, I would recommend the GoldStar to all those who are considering Int650 or Super Meteor. While the machine is awesome, but the ASS in all likelihood pull the ownership experience down. Hence, my advise would be 'no buy'.
