this kind of footage tends to be recorded under specific conditions (with a black or colored background) and with a smoke machine, later gets cleaned and gets sold as stock footage or added to programs. This also can be made with 3d/particles renders but ussually takes a lot of effort for such simple task and tends to be easier to just record it, even for non-professionals.
