okay whats absolutely insane is I used to watch your skate videos when I was a little kid because you made a video about my hometown park. Now I'm here a decade+ later and you're the guy teaching me a new hobby. Thank you for this!

@@cusabir your video on the Davenport skatepark! I was only 9 or 10 at the time but man that video has stayed in my memory this whole time, I recognized the thumbnail immediately going through your channel haha. I miss the graffiti that they've since washed off, it added a lot to the place when I was growing up!

Nice one! Always cool to see other people's processes. Especially when they are much more careful than mine haha.

Thank you for this! I was having difficulty finding anyone explain in depth how to circuit bend an old mixer like this. I bought a MVP - 3080 off ebay and I'm gonna try to bend it sometime soon. Again, Thank you!

I wonder if you could hook up jacks instead of pots so you could run those pins to a patch bay. Then you could hook up LFOs to animate the glitches in different combinations. There is so much eurorack synth gear that could apply to this. Envelope followers would let you control stuff with an audio track... I think delay effects and tremolo effects could be useful. Maybe how narrow the useful voltage on video equipment like this would make those ideas not effective, though. This is an interesting tutorial. Thanks!

Whoa fucking sick. Copped one of these on ebay for 20 bucks and was just using it to process feedback from a mx1. Pretty dope to see circuit bent skate footage too

real nice! thanks a lot for sharing. Is there any chance you could explain how the buttons and pots are connected?
@cusabir
@cusabir 2 года назад
I’m only using the left and middle pins on the pots and they are connected to the buttons to turn the connection between the bend points on and off. The white button is two bend points that turn on and off.

Hope you see this comment, what is the purpose of checking the pins with the multimeter? Also, since it (the multimeter) was offcamera, how do i know what pins to avoid (for the pins i shold avoid, what will come up on the multimeter?)

Any 12v dc battery with ac jack should work. You might have to solder your own jack on.

Great video!! I actually bought the same little Casio mini tv for testing, what connection are you using from the external antenna to hookup to composite? Tried finding a solution online with not a ton of luck

It’s a lot lol. The 3.5mm jack to coax dongle to an rf modulator to composite line from sima pro. I’ll try to find the RU-vid video of someone doing the same thing.

Hi, thanks for that tutorial. When you say you trace the middle leg of the regulator this is the gnd pin right? How do you choose the bend points? do you just leave out the gnd pins on the ic's and try connecting the other legs with each other or with the ones of other ic's? Isn't this a problem if you connect Vin of the IC to another leg or are the IC's generally fine having the same voltage as they have on V in on other pins? Sorry for asking the maybe obvious, just trying to avoid mistakes when starting to do stuff on my own. :)
@cusabir
@cusabir Год назад
After I identify the power pins I just connect random points that aren’t power and see what happens. As long as you don’t connect anything to V you should be good.

@@cusabir how you see, theyre not power, i mean which value is no power is it 1, 0 or everything under 1. Man i know thats basic stuff, but i really cant find womething on the net which shines a light on this situations

Thx man, i used your video as reference, its a magic world! Im playing russian roulette with this boards, but i could fix them all by connecting random points via bridges. I have a question to you, how i can locate the middlegg of the transistor? the thing you showed at 3:23? i really try to get some knowledge because sometimes it sparks and i feel thats not good for the board. greetings would love to hear from you
@cusabir
@cusabir Год назад
I just find it on top and match up the pins on the bottom. It sparks? You shouldn’t have power on when tracing the pcb.
@caesarblanko1399
@caesarblanko1399 Год назад
@@cusabir man thx a lot for your request. Yeah i had that in mind, but i dont have those batteries. But at least, i have a multimeter now. So i plug the board out, and use the multimeter, i have the mode on, same like you had. The red pen on the transistor. But nearly all of them have a value, sometimes is -1.087 sometimes is 625.. so is there a rule when i can use them to bend them? OR i only connect them if theyre 1 on the multimeter? What about a private course? Like an hour training i get you some bucks paypal.
