Also the Map of the soul: Persona album is the beggining of Jung's theory which begins with RM's solo "Persona", then Suga's "Shadow" and J-Hope's "Ego" to end the cycle. A big point in this music video is also the fact that it’s a homage to Singing in the Rain! The movie theater (singing in the rain is based on the movie industry in the late 1920s), the yellow lampposts, just like Gene Kelly’s scene with the title song, even the yellow couch! RM’s scene is the most similar to the film. The climax has a big Broadway style number, with the exact same camera movements and all. You can basically do a side by side analysis of the two and find even more similarities!!!

I always learn so much from your videos! I never realized the shot length is longer than your average kpop video in BTS videos but now that you point it out it totally makes sense. The longer shots make it feel like the members are the focus, rather than all the fast cutting around that sometimes irritates me in other videos.

I've never noticed the coach levitating and flying before landing in front of us and I watched this MV like 100 times 😂😂😂😂 I looooove your videos, Jordan, they are always extremely fun and educational, thank you for creating them!!

What can i say about this MV besides it has and is full of my favourite colour (ever since i was little) pink, ok im going to start with my bias Jimin his hair OMG and the way he is dancing in this MV just takes my breath away, like the start when he sings “hows your day” it takes me back to when he asked armys on twitter for about a week before this song cane out be kept asking how everyones day has been and it was lovely also im just in love with his little smile he does aswell and then you get the 3 Js aka Jimin, Jungkook and JHope dancing together that also mazed me, then as i said befor RM and JHope were two of my bias wreckers well it was because of this MV and his smile as he rapped that made Yoongi become my third bias wrecker (before D2 came out which was when he became my ultimate bias wrecker) his little gummy smile just pulled at my heart strings,, also when Joonie rapped it was so smooth and so poetic especially with the words he was saying, then there was JHopes and Kookies bit that made me smile so much just seeing those two bounce of each-other made my heart burst with pride, and there is no way im forgetting that tongue action at the start thnx to Tae also im not forgetting Jin his bot made me swoon so badly especially when we had a close up of his very handsome face lol. And finally i cant forget about Halsey herself , you could clearly see the friendship she had with the lads thru out her time on the MV and she even danced and kept up with how fast paced the lads were dancing which kinda surprised me but then seeing her smile and the lads and seeing them have fun made me smile even more than i was already. (Also this is me thinking but to me Halsey represents us army in a way in the MV as we all know how much BTS love us Armys and we love them back equally as much.

I wouldn't say they're expressing their true wearing light colors. This is the concept and dresser decisions. If you look at how they dress themselves, not all the members like bright colors. Particularly Suga and JK - these guys love black.

I love that he brought attention to that Suga theory because I love when Suga is high energy and bubbly and childish and all those cutesy things from him. Granted, I consider that to be "Meowgi." In fact, this is something that I need to work on because I have kind of compartmentalized Idols based on their nicknames and Suga is definitely an example of that: "Yoongi" is him naturally. We might see this Yoongi in studio or as the "background guy" like he pointed out in the theory, maybe on vlives, etc. etc. It is just the "natural" person he is. "Meowgi" is the high energy, cutesy, lovable person we see in videos, on stage, in some of the Run episodes. "Suga" is him rapping and having a great time with BTS, kind of coaching the other boys on things, and when he is full spotlight for BTS Lastly is "AgustD" and that is "Unground rapper" who is badass and sultry, BDE energy, willing to kill a man... basically the person you do not fuck with. There is a very clear difference between "Suga" and "AgustD" Again, I need to work on this because I feel like it is a personal thing but I am glad Jordan brought awareness to that theory.
