A few corrections: the song in the beginning is Enchanted and not Long live. Long live plays in the end with the dragons. Also Long Pond Studio is not Taylor’s studio but Aaron Dessners and the Nationals studio. It’s where they recorded the long pond studio sessions for folklore. I really love that she referenced it in this video though. Really good job at summarizing the Easter eggs, ofc there are so many more and probably a few no one has decoded yet. With Taylor’s own words “there’s a psychotic amount”.

In light of Taylor's break up with Joe, I think this was kind of an emancipation song for her. Joe really didn't want to give her the attention and opportunity to sparkle and shine. Also, it is a great bop to get ready to. ❤
@@omargames13 She also wrote "you're losing me" months before their public break-up. They were clearly having relationship issues already around the making of Midnights. It wouldn't be surprising if this song is about that because most of her and Joe's relationship had been super private (during her pre-reputation black out and during covid). He may have not been prepared at all for life with her when things went back to normal and she wanted to go out there and shine.

We speculate that will be the next album she is rereleasing Floor 13 = 13 is Taylor's favorite number (she was born December 13, 1989)

He’s actually produced 8 of her albums (including some re-records), and written songs on 6 of them. This whole mv is basically a montage of Easter eggs for TS’s next re-record, Speak Now. This song is theorised to be about Joe Alwyn. They fell in love during a time when she was out of the spotlight, then not long after came lockdown and even more privacy and time together. Apparently as she kind of stepped back into her fame with the recent eras tour and the way she’s really blowing up right now, he got more uncomfortable and wanted her to be smaller. This is basically her freeing herself of that and reminding herself she’s still Taylor Fucking Swift.

The 5 you saw her going up to is her 5th album 1989, so a little back story she, so far, has 13 albums (3 re-recorded) shes re-recording because, when she was 14 or 15, she made a deal with her record team, that the first 6 albums she will make (Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak now, RED, 1989, and reputation) will be owned by them, fast forward in years time she has made her 6 albums, and her record label sold them to a person named Scooter Braun for 300m , meaning that all the stream money will go to him, so taylor deicided to Re-record them so she can own her music again, so far she has re-recorder Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and announced 1989(Taylor’s version) so there was actually a lot of easter eggs for Speak now (Taylor’s Version) Like at the start in the background her song "Enchanted was playing" Her stepmother said "Speak NOT" at the end her song "Long live" was playing and more, so she gave us kinda a sign going from 3 purple (her 3rd album wich is speak now that she announced next) and going to 5th blue ( wich was fro 1989 Taylor’s version wich was her 5th album wich will be released octobor 27!
That part of slow motion that you commented that you found strange, here in Brazil in soap operas, and I used a lot of these effects in some types of scenes, for example, dances and the like. since the video is set in a different era, I believe they did this on purpose.

My 2 cents, without the easter egg clues, as I am not good at those, but based on what I understand from reading interviews given by people in the video. This is, of course, a Cinderella video. Many (not all) characters in the video are "cinderella" people in Taylor's life or in the music industry, in that they are either behind the scenes or don't get the same level of dazzle as Taylor-and hence don't get to "shine". She bejewels them by highlighting them. She includes: her friends the Haim sisters and their song "I'm gonna be hungover"; her friend and producer Jack Atanoff as a Prince; Her makeup artist Pat MaGrath as a Queen; pictures of Zoe Kravitz and Sam Dew are on the wall, and they have co-written songs with Taylor; Dita von Teese has been in other artists' music videos almost as a prop, and her image is included in the boards people make for planning their music videos. I think the reason you might be having trouble with the song (and easter eggs) is that you're concentrating on the making of the video, obviously, and her videos are pretty intricate so you have to concentrate on that. The song is actually really catchy, and yes, it's about a relationship where the partner is no longer treasuring you, and you say, "Ya know, I can still walk in a room and make the whole place shimmer.I'm going out tonight."
a lot of people haven't figured it out but this is why most of the break up songs on TTPD are about Matty Healy and not Joe Alwyn. She had already documented the sadness in her songs. The relationship started breaking down during Midnight. This is the warning shot about Joe and there are a few more.

I'll ramble about the song a bit, if you're on the mood. This one grew quite a bit on me. The content and sound are kind of mixed because she delievers it in a a very perky way. But the song is very likely to be about how Joe Alwyn wanted to enforce an extreme no visibilty thing on their relationship and beyond it. And Taylor is a damn star that loves "sparkling" and so that relatioship ended. The interesting part is that right from the beginning there's a very dark bass underneath the melody that underscores that darker theme. That added level of tone to the song really made me like it even more once I noticed it. That and lyrics of course. It's always lyrics with Taylor.

Bejeweled, at least my interpretation, is a song about Joe Alwyn who she was with 6 or 7 years. They broke up in my opinion before she released this and Joe is a very private person who couldn’t handle all the attention. She knew she was going to announce the eras tour and the line I miss you but I miss sparkling is a nod to the fact she misses being public and performing
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the slo mo with the dancers fanning her and her smiling. It was a quick transition to a too very slow motion shot that didn’t flow well and just looked weird. And no one knew what I was talking about until they analyzed it.
