I am 58 years old, born in 1966. My son is 32 born in 1991. We are BOTH gamers. Our bond was Mario Bros. 3 On NES. ..that is until N64 came out. My OG games of games were NES wizards and warriors which I couldn't beat with help from my son and OG Zelda. When Zelda came out, I stayed awake three freaking days blowing up rocks and burning bushes. I am rebuilding my collection as we speak. I have an 8 month old Grandson, Kylo, whom I plan to introduce him to retro gaming. I love my Switch but..retro rules! If my body fails, I'll make my Grandson play, or maybe they'll have voice control for old people.. Shout out Retro Rick..Never Stop Playnig!!
What’s crazy is in 30+ years when the squad are “old men”, they won’t just be thinking back to their childhood playing games but, the glory days they’re living in now with all the game hunting, NES pursuit, podcasts and expos. I can only hope RU-vid or some social media is still around so we can all still be a part of the extended squad.
Guys, my names Wayne and I’m from the uk, I’ve just turned 56 so I remember a time when video games didn’t exist. When I was about 8 years old the only games you could play were pinball machines. I recall my mind being blown when arcade games started emerging and I’ve has a love affair with them ever since. I do still like the thought of playing games and I do still buy, and collect games, for me and my 18 year old so but for some reason, I don’t play as much as I used to. It always feels like a waste of my time so I don’t do it as much anymore. Love the channel and the podcast, Keep doing you and don’t give in to the woke culture!

I do believe in the paranormal and I have believed in it for about 15-20 years now. My first experience was exploring an abandoned barn in the NW Suburbs of Chicago with my friends and we heard some knocks and thumps. We ran out of the barn once we heard running footsteps coming toward us and we never went back. My 2nd experience was something a little more personal. To preface I had lost my dad to cancer 6 months prior to this. I was watching World Series of Poker one night in the family room and out of my left ear I heard someone say "hey Herbie". That was my dad's nickname for me. I turned to look in the kitchen and I saw a white silhouette of someone leaning on the counter by the back door. It waved at me. After that I went upstairs to tell my mom and as I was walking past the door to the basement, it closed all on its own. I did not touch the door at all. I asked my mom if the dogs were with her and she said they've been with her for about an hour. After that, I was a complete believer.
I worked in mass production bakery in the uk Around 8 years ago maybe I had a email from head office regarding the uk government banning certain artificial sweeteners We used to same as in Diet Coke I had the job of reworking new products without these banned substances in The next week I come in to a email saying to scrap the idea The Coca Cola company paid millions to the uk government and the banned went away These chemicals that they were attempting to ban had seriously high cancer causing properties So it really makes you think doesn’t it

Sugar is also a quemical guys just not artificial. That being said aspertame is made out of amino acids that are naturally occurring in both other foods and the human body. Is artificial because the combination isn’t naturally ocurring unlike the natural combination of quemicals that confirm sugar. We all have quemicals in our bodies through food be it artificial or natural. It’s important to understand the difference between terms like organic, synthetic, natural and artificial while all related they don’t refer to the same thing. For instance sugar and aspertame are both organic compounds. As far as I know we don’t consume inorganic material. Also to say the Big Bang is an explosion is a misnomer it’s more accurate to call it an expansion. Keep in mind that they stop calling UFO that because the term incorrectly performs an assumption that what’s being seen/experience is an object at all. Hence why they now refer to them more accurately as unidentified aerial phenomena. As at times what’s being seen can be a visual effect, we all know how are eyes and brains can get confused, or it could be a weather event. It’s kind of cognitively dissonant to refer to it as a UFO/UAP while attempting to identify it as alien. If it’s a ufo then by definition one does not know what it is it’s unidentified so one shouldn’t really proceed and attempt to identify specially without evidence.

Coke DOES NOT own Dr. Pepper! Dr.Pepper is actually it’s own brand that licenses itself out to both Coke and Pepsi, or it’s the leading soda depending on where you are in the country. For example, where Pepsi will have Mr Pibb, Mt Dew in many places…it’ll also have Dr Pepper in others where it’s licensed instead of Mr Pibb. There are also places where Dr. Pepper is the leading brand and will have RC Cola as its Coke/Pepsi alternative. So basically depending on where you are in the country, it’s a Coke Product, Pepsi Product or it is it’s own product!

Man, he went wayyyy overboard with that FPGA explanation. An FPGA is just a chip that replicates the functuons of the original (NES/SNES/Saturn/etc) hardware. Traditional emulation uses software to try to function similar to the original hardware. FPGA is trying to basically become the original hardware. That's why it's more accurate than software emulation. It looks better because it's all a pure RGB signal, where original hardware has flaws and different revisions.
I'm not sure if you can say you encourage people to find their own paths then say anyone who finds Jesus "got saved" 😜 I'm all for people having their own beliefs but implying that anyone who don't share your beliefs need "saved" isn't cool
From a Christian perspective, it's being saved from sin or hell. So, it is an honest response to his beliefs. If you don't believe in the Christian God, then it's a moot point for you.
