Okay. I started with this one and had to watch them all. Love the soundtrack on this one. The Cinema 21 in Portland, OR played this one for a while and I'd go in and wait to clean the theater while the credits rolled. It's catchy. That poor turtle! I was afraid to watch it alone, so one of the projectionists and another co-worker watched it together. Glad you had CJ.... I'll catch up with you later!
When I was in college, a friend of mine had a copy of this film. I think I managed to make it through about twenty minutes. Still, as a film buff and an amature student of film history, I can appreciate its role as an OG of the found footage genre. Of course one could argue whether that's a good legacy or a bad legacy I suppose. No argument on these reviews though. Love them. Happy Christmas my friend!
Cannibal Holocaust. The release I got is from 88 Films (the same release that you got). Rating-9/10. Opinions-In my opinion, the king of all of the cannibal films directed by the late, great Ruggero Deodato cause it's a very powerful and an important cult classic with a good story, a nice soundtrack and a good cast plus it's one of the 3 films that started the video nasty panic. *COME DINE WITH ME GAG*
Swore off ever watching it because of its reputation until I bought the Shameless DVD in 2011. An important piece of horror cinema. Have a happy and safe Christmas dude 👍🏻
It is a brutal, tough watch. The turtle scene really turned my stomach. But, I think it's an absolutely brilliant film and Ruggero Deodato is a genius. The nastiest Nasty.
@@BenSimpson1998 Cheers buddy. Hopefully now you have most of your Section one and two on bluray you can do more updated review instead of reviewing muddy VHS transfers you may seen them in a whole different way or not?
