Welcome to Video Poker Genius! This is part 3 of a series of videos designed to help you become a better video poker player.
In this part, I play 150 practice hands of 10/7 Double Bonus Poker with live commentary. The strategy for this game is difficult to master, but just learning the major changes in strategy will bring you close to the optimal payback percentage.

Nice video dude. Double Bonus Poker is tough. I'm at about 96% with Bonus Poker. Before stumbling upon your videos I was playing so bad. Much obliged.

GOOD VIDEO! Have you made a double bonus video with the 9/6 pay table? That seems to be the most common in the casino I pay in.

You only hold the unsuited Ace, if there is either no flush penalty, or if there is a K - 10 suited.

So what's the rule with AJ, AQ, or AK unsuited? I'm confused. Sometimes app showing just to keep the A or sometimes both high cards.

That is a good question. I have noticed this myself. My guess is that it depends on what the other 3 cards you discard are. I will go into more detail on this in my next FAQ video. 👍

I'm a little confused with the strategy. There is no Double Bonus Poker strategy table that has an AJ, AQ, or AK unsuited. Yet, the trainer app tells me that I should save them. Am I missing anything?

Yes. The only time you hold two to a straight Ace high, is under two scenarios; * no two spades in the hand * no suited ten to the Ace
