Here's a first look at the new (just majorly overhauled) 2019 Dodge Ram 1500. Apparently - I need to confirm this - the 2019 will only be available in four-door cab configuration. If you want a regular cab (and, I think, an eight foot bed) you can still buy it. But it's last year's Ram - not majorly made over - which they'll still sell you as a 2019 "classic" Ram 1500.
Oy, if true.
But then, it's understandable. Trucks have become cars as far as what most people use them for, since most cars are too small (and too under-capable to pull anything much). So, we get this - which is basically a modern mutation of what a full-size American sedan used to be but which has been rendered a museum piece by government regulation: Big, V8 and rear-drive.
And with all the amenities you'd find in a luxury sedan, too.
