I remember having the yellow Energon redeco of the star saber back in the day, and the Skyboom Shield. Really wanted the Requiem Blaster but never could find it as a kid
I was always a fan of the Skyboom shield. In fact i still have all three minicons released when Armada was still airing and that includes the decepticon variant of the Requiem Blaster.
It's actually a FIRRIB situation. The toy catalog, packaging, and cartoon were inconsistent on the Boeing and Concorde being Jet Storm and Runway. Only Sonar, the V-wing shuttle concept, was consistent. I prefer to use the Japanese names, which *were* consistent across all the releases, and 2/3 relate to the planes' abilities: Concorde: Mach Boeing: Jetter V-wing shuttle: Shuttler
I hope if they ever do a Dark Star Saber ver that it Includes a solid blade part for show accuracy. Like how the Skyboom shield has a clip on piece in their images
Awesome review! I agree about the packaging. I’ve seen similar recently from Boss Fight Studios & Fresh Monkey Fiction. Hope it catches on, nice way of preserving the packaging while keeping that old clam shell feel.
wish that a 'screen accurate' static combined version of the sword had been included in the same way that Fans Hobby will be doing for their Shield Team
From what I understand the piece with the shield team is just a cover that goes over the assembled shield, not a separate shield piece, but I agree a solid version of the sword would be nice.
