Another great video. Thank you! However, I was a little disappointed you didn't call Scott out for falling asleep with his camera on there at the end. ;) I get it. It's been a long season. We're all beat!
Play 2: She's been learning from LeBron. In seriousness, it looks likek the two players high fived after the ball was clearly away. I would think THAT part should just be ignored. The leg kick could be ruled an offensive foul, although that would be HOTLY contested. :)
Pet peeve: While describing a couple plays you said "he's over his back," as if it violates a rule. When the offensive player drove the length of the floor and ended with an open layup (39:05), the defensive player touched the offensive player with his right arm for less than a half second. Why are we calling a defensive foul here when the defensive player's actions did not seem to affect the offensive player's movement?
I have intimate knowledge that those representing the IHSA supported the nocall on the screen at the end of the girls game. 😃 My personal opinion, when a team executes that many facets of a throw-in play correctly, as was done here, you reward them by letting them finish the play. We would penalize that team by putting a whistle on the play.
@OfficialsInstitute you're welcome. I appreciate your content and enjoy watching. That one time the analysis was soooooo ticky tack and it happened in a split second 99% of us would have never caught the loss of control of the ball.
