The good thing about these Human Alliance figures is that, even if you're just buying them for the sake of being a part of a collection of 1:24 scale cars, the vehicle modes are super-high detailed and mask the transforming aspect of them pretty well, especially up on a display shelf with cars of a similar scale, and depending on the transformer, they can be cheaper than dedicated die-cast models if bought secondhand.

Nah, they're partners. Hasbro releases the stuff over here and TT releases it in Asia mostly. The only differences really are paint applications

I don't think his legs are small you are just comparing them to his arms which are very big

I just ordered mine from Hong Kong for a reasonable price of $58.00 with Free postage and Handling. Just like when I got Barricade.. Sure, 3 years since this review was released, but I am glad to have him coming soon.

You sounded very joyful in this video, it added a very nice touch to the review. In regards to the toy, actually a shame that this and the deluxe one were cancelled, both seem very nice and well done... Well, there's always hope for a G1 repaint on a revival of the movie toyline...

I finally got lucky and managed to get Human Alliance Barricade and Soundwave this morning, well I ordered them online and they've been dispatched. They should both arrive within the next week or so, hopefully before Christmas. Looking forward to them both, I've been looking for them for ages and now they'll finally be in my collection.

This soundwave can be compared to the deluxe class Barricade from 2007, with the arms made up by the sides of the car, the car looking very good, having unstable legs, and other things. I guess that's why I like it because I really like this figure.

In transformers Headmaster, Soundwave was defeated by Blaster and Blaster was also defeated by soundwave at the same time. Later Soundwave was renewed as SoundBlaster.

Which would you recommend HA soundwave or HA jazz. They for about the same price on ebay, but I'm not sure which one I should get.

sorry not trying to repeat the last guys question but ..i am HUGE fan of Soundwave AND a huge fan of jazz right now i have some extra money to buy one of them HA version.. out of the 2 which would you recommend i cant decide.

Thanks for the review as always, but you missed a couple things: Laserbeak can actually clip onto SWs arms via a c-clip. It's easy to miss but it's there. It attaches to notches in Laserbeak's feet. You have to flip out the car seat part of his arm a bit to get any decent poses though. Also, the speaker things on SWs left arm flip out, and I think Dylan can use them or something. I like to have them deployed as a sort of Sonic barrier thing personally. Thanks again!

Dude this is just what I was thinking you should have added shockwave into the video to see the size of both of them or did you not have shockwave at the time cause I thought that be pretty freaking awesome.

I can’t believe soundwave turns into a car rather than a flying vehicle. Also most of the transformers except starscream turn into cars and trucks and other ground vehicles.

My Soundwave figure just arrived. He is awesome, although his legs was tough to separate. Maybe they decided against the silver paint because it costs to much, and with kids and collectors transforming him, the paint may get scraped and peal off.

In the end, it's a toy. And how you play with it/display it is what's really the most important part.

FINALLY, someone who understands the meaning of "Transformers Action Figures." You can play with them, but its mostly for collecting.
