the reason the skysaurus/quetzalcoatlus front claws bend like that is because its believed that the quetzalcoatlus could stand like a quadruped. maybe even gallop like a horse or giraffe. so if you display him on all fours that is currently accurate.
I was wondering if it was meant to be an Azhdarchid. The beast head is definitely too small for it. But, pterosaur transformers are a colossal pain in the keester to give accurate beast modes to, so concessions must be made.
@@peaugh Niblet is off to college?! holy cow I remember watching your rotf starscream review *checks video* FIFTEEN YEARS AGO?!? I was 13. how time flies indeed. Best of luck Niblet!
I vividly remember seeing your Magmatron video years back when I was still in Middle School. I always wanted the OG, but never was able to afford it. Years later as an adult, I am SO GLAD they released this update, and am happy to finally get one. I grew up LOVING the Predacons, and I cannot wait to have him clash with the HasLab RiD Optimus (as TY for comparing him with it, makes me MORE pumped).
I just got my Magmatron today as well. I love how they engineered the legs on Landsaur. Also, pretty sure the blade and its holder assembly are problematic for every unit. just something to get used to. It's easier if you plug the elasmosaur's head into the shoulder before you combine it with the rest of the figure. otherwise parts have a tendency to come unpegged while you're positioning it.
I'm patiently waiting to get him from Amazon, but I'm slightly less patient to see what Big Convoy will look like in Legacy or whatever comes after it. I also would like to see the Blentrons revisited, but I have no expectation of that to come.
Never been a big Beast Wars fan (that came out by the time I discovered the alien species called GIRLS), never watched Japanese Transformers (but I'd love to!). That said, I'm at the point in my collector's journey where I have enough Optimus Primes and Megatrons, plus enough car and jetformers to last me a lifetime. This guy is freaking amazing and something I've never seen before. Also, my blind wife really gets a kick out of playing around with all the beast-formers I bought just because of her :))
I was on the fence for awhile with this one, but all of the stellar reviews convinced me to buy it. Should get it this week and can't wait to mess with it. It looks awesome and I love the hefty large bots.
BWII Galvatron is a delightful figure that I would love to see redone! I just got Magmatron and love how beefy he is! A solid figure that almost feels like a Haslab. Almost.
What an odd but interesting figure. I want to complain about the panels but given what all it does i understand them. I do agree anew version of that old galvatron would be neet. Mans got GUN knees, how would that not be cool
@@peaugh i was thinking to myself he has legs that remind me of the he-man era ultra buff guy action figures. if he was just a bit more squat hed be there
Damn, Commander Class finally got my cheap ass... Maybe not a "drop everything to order" in the vein of a Tripredacus or Transmetal Rampage, but I'd pick him up if I came across him in the wild.
@peaugh My wallet's going to be in trouble when we start getting updated Transmetals, haha. As a longtime viewer, I gotta say I'm happy to see you still making vids (esp. as you seem to be prioritizing figures you're already interested in). Your T30 Springer review actually put me onto the IDW comics back in the day.
@@peaugh I know I've read/heard that name used a couple times from different sources. Japan is wacky. If anything it's definitely been used by fans several times.
Ahhh the curse of trying to demonstrate an issue strikes again XD Also I think the general design of that Giganotosaurus is better than the one from Jurassic World: Dominion XD
Funny thing is Landsaur is actually a dinosaur pronounced "Giganoto -saurus" not Gigantosaurus but honestly don't blame you for calling it gigantosaurus because honestly that's the name they really should have given it coz the dinosaur itself was known to be literally gigantic. Paleontology can be weird sometimes fr
@@peaugh yeah i mean it's not as bad as a titan which i've seen for $200 canadian commanders are apparently about $150 canadian with tax but i have a budget for transformers and my budget is $100 ... also if you wondering why it matters what the price is in candian dollars simple: i'm canadian
To make the chimera mode and this whole figure funny Skysaur gives birth to Magmatron's head in the delivery room just cause if I have to suffer my own thoughts so must everyone
I would just lay his pterodactyl head down in the chimera mode 😂 so he doesn’t look like he’s giving birth lol. I’m not gonna lie his robot mode and 3 dinosaur split modes are awesome. Do you think he’s worth the price of admission ?
