The Mayor, City manager, and Police Chief should all be held accountable. This guy has a long history of being a horrible cop. And they all continued to let him stay. If a citizen is the lookout for others robbing a store, and the people in the store commit a worse crime while in the store. The lookout who did not do that crime can and will be charged with that crime. Double standards are not constitutional. These people let this man commit crime after crime. They should be charged just like we would be charged. And the people in this town need to grow up, be adults, care about their community, sacrifice just a little, stand outside this police station until the Chief resigns. If the entire town does it, it will be done in a day. But like the vast majority of America, we are lazy and do not sacrifice for jack shit until there is no other choice. This country is unique and is truly run by the people. We decide who and what, but we love our easy lifestyles and do not want to put any effort into making our community better. If all the people in any town spent 1 hour a day helping their town, it would be a thousand times nicer in every single way. Less crime, less corruption, less pollution, less litter, less broken public property, less homeless, less everything that is bad. But we are all too lazy. Lazy people equals shit government. Until we change, this will keep happening.

Studies have shown when the local or state government needs money the number of traffic tickets issued increases. The tax payers will pay for it one way or another. Policing is a profit and with all businesses, some costs come with it. As long as the profit outweighs the cost there is no reason for them to change it. Roughly 42 million speeding tickets are issued each year. It is estimated the Government collects 15 billion a year for speeding tickets alone. Many of the laws and regulations you are subject to are a result of legislation designed to regulate and modify the behavior of a small percentage of the population, and yet, we ALL have to follow those laws regardless of whether we engage in the behavior(s) those laws are meant to regulate. Also to fear them no matter where you live or work. Police have no oversight, no severe consequences. They can get away with doing with whatever they want. Their badge and the city says so.

Police make me sick at the best of times. 5 idiots can't control an innocent man just shows how poor their training is. Pathetic.

Do you not comprehend that he was not stating he did those things, but stated yes, those were the allegations made against him? Do you think every allegation people make against other people are 100% truthful? If you cant even properly understand what you see or hear on a video, then thank God you are not in law enforcement and I certainly hope you are not any kind of manager over other people and never should be.

The victim was right: the Henderson cops tried to get their story straight right after they beat him, instead of trying to get him help.
