The $50,000 match between Vidit Gujrathi and Hans Niemann is being organized by the Universal Chess Tour. The organization is founded by NFL pro Amari Cooper, FIDE master Sharvesh Deviprasath and tournament director Cole Blakeman.
The event will take place in an open stadium in Dallas.
The format of the event is:
Each round is worth 1 point. The first to reach 2 points wins.
1. 4+2 in round 1 - first to reach 4
2. 3+2 in round 2 - first to reach 6
3. 2+2 in round 3 - first to reach 6.

Classical and Blitz are not same Classical needs more deep thinking Whereas Blitz needs faster thinking Vidit is way stronger than Hans in Classical format

You are living in a fantasy world. Nihal is far far better than him in both rapid and blitz (also bullet). In classical they are equal. May be you should watch his vlogs. Recently he said that winning 6 games out of 15 games against nihal is victory for him. Because usually,nihal destroyed him brutally every time they played (2-10,3-10....etc) So nihal is far far better than hans

I understand this channel is focussed on Indian people, but since there was no good English stream, the guy speaking Indian/Hindi all the time was pretty annoying for many people. It wasn't the best solution for international viewers, and nobody wants a chat, where the Indians constantly fight the rest of the world because "this is an Indian channel", while the other people don't have another place to go. Also Levy was right when he said the match was promoted poorly. Only few people knew about it (which also isn't good for the sponsors), and just 1 big channel covering it is just not enough. But other than that, great idea, great match, it was a lot of fun, and I absolutely love Sagar's enthusiasm.

Only if you could ask your friends from the organising team to sponsor ChessBase India and make it as their official streaming partner, the commentary would be as you wanted it to be. One can do only so much for free and for the love of the game. Plus the stream was targeted more towards supporting Vidit and not addressing an international audience. A wholesome environment can definitely be created with the same commentary panel with proper planning and reliable incentives to everyone.

Chess is like that, there are a lot of regional channels that promote local chess(spanish,indian heck even the chinese) DO you think anyone watches the great matches ding played in his local tournaments last year through his run to Candidates? They were obviously streamed. IMO chess in general is poorly organised with little to no money involved for the players and fide itself. Chessbase is a great channel, they have done some great grassroot work here in India, built up huge follower bases here. I just want to say that nothing can be done to counter these, Indians in indian channel's chat is inevitable.
