Cracking vid again Allen, how system cleansing as advanced, remember the old guy I started with in the late 70s always put an egg cup full of fairy liquid in the F&E cistern when we put a new heating system in ha ha.

Hi Allen, Normally your video's are great, I'm putting in a couple of LPG converted Veissmans in a few weeks, and wondered if there were any little tricks/differences that I might find handy, but this video didn't show any of the install at all. It was handy to see the rig in place, nice and easy, some of the old combi's have a rig that needs a little persuasion like dismantling pipework from rig underneath etc etc. Keep up the good work.

One bit of info, always volt stick the meter and outlet before touching it.

Is the boiler isolated when doing the flush? Do you only run the water through the boiler for the hot flush? thanks

Turbidity tubes are good indication if you've flushed well 👍. I use the fernox test kit. The adey test kit seems a bit overpriced for what it is 🤔

Another excellent video Allen and a good boiler choice too! Is there any reason why the pressure gauge was over 3 bar when kulbir was putting it into service mode? Or is it because it was filled too a high-pressure to be flushed? As always enjoyed watching it !🙂

Allen Hart Yes I thought that might be the case ! I’ve checked with viessmann and they recommend the cold pressure ,static , is one bar only

Allen ive got baxinplatinum when i use hot water tap in kitchen the water is hot after i turn off water theboiler makes noise for anothe minute and half

Bonding can be within 600mm of where it enters the property and depending on the earthing system it can be as low as 6mm . If the gas pipe is plastic on the intake and it’s not extraneous or re enter the floor down the line it doesn’t require bonding .

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Viessmann do not recommend the use of inhibitors in their boilers. I'm guessing it's something to do with the rubber hoses.

Mark B Jones No mark viessmann do not recommend any inhibitors in the system water it’s something to do with the chemicals in inhibitor that cause particles in the stainless steel heat exchanger
