Deuteronomy, 18:11 10. Let there be no one in the midst of you to cause your son or daughter to pass through the fire; Let no one practice enchantments or consult the stars; That there be no sorcerers or sorcerers; 11. that no one is found who engages in superstitions or consult the spirits; That no fortune-teller or anyone who asks the dead is found. 12. For Yahweh hates those who do all this, and drives them out before you because of these abominations. Jesus loves you, God loves you
You should try to buy a complete outfit like shirt pants shoes and then show us the final price and then show us how much it would cost in the USA and how much it was it costed you over there
I am in the Army, and have been to Japan, and Korea.I would on my off days go into the city, and haggle for all type of cloths, watches ,and shoes.I loved doing it,and got pretty good at it after awhile.A lot of the items I purchased I would give away. But the fun was getting great deals.I am learning so much from you Collin.I am a new subscriber.Keep up the great work!
Remember, Vietnam's currency is super high so sometimes we'll be talking in hundreds and other times we'll be talking in hundred thousands/millions, if you get confused, just look at the prices in USD and stick to that. I'ma pin the most clever comment to the top Also, I'ma be honest, I wanna post more to IG but it gets rather lonely there so hit my IG up at Collin Abroadcast on there. If we can get to 5k that'd be cool, 10k would be cooler
While Collin was pulling out his wallet to pay the guy, another person who I assume is with the guy selling things distracts Collin by cleaning his shoes. The one selling things was about to grab Collins wallet or atleast take money out.
My ex had lost her cellphone at a bar in a city called Saskatoon (Canada). Couldn't find it for a couple weeks. Then someone messages from her phone saying his cousin gave him the phone and would like to buy it off of us saying he is located in Vietnam. He was very insistent on him having the phone, I said no, we would very much like it back (at this point I was thinking I was screwing with him, what was I going to do about it?). He tells me okay, you can have your phone back, asks for my mailing address, two weeks later it's in the mail! Very surprised and relieved the bill wasn't crazy high. Vietnamese people are very honest 🤷♂️
Just stumbled on your blogs-absolutely love it. You are a man after my own heart. I'm from the UK, and we never bargain. My family and friends have to walk away when I'm in Negotiating mode. They cringe. I love the thrill and excitement.

Joey N. That's cause youre Viet American. It's a struggle in Vietnam. They own their stalls, if they don't sell, they don't make $$$. They gotta be agrressive hustlers
I work for Vietnamese and thet are the rudest people I've ever met! My husband is chinese and i always get along with chinese people! Nice and actually treat you as human! Vietnam just are rude because they are not because they learn from chinese! Wrong
One way of bargaining is by carrying alot of bags containing items from other shops or from your previous days purchase. They would give you a cheaper price by doing this. ( its all psychological )
The only way to bargain is to make sure it's not a busy day, and tell the seller you'll buy all of your shit from them if they give you an incredible price. They will give you any price just so they can make a sale that day. Bought 8 shirts, 2 jackets, wallet and jordans for $100 that way in Vietnam. Everything came up to around 7 dollars on average which is utterly ridiculous price since I took their best shit. They were happy for the custom there was no one else there cos it was raining. Not as fun as interacting with different locals in different markets but I guess that's the "correct way" to do it
Alec Nguyen yeah, but it seems he actually bought more in China with the ridiculous bargaining because they're bargaining by default. This is based on only this and another video I saw with him in China.
Trust me, not all great qualities, it's like a fake market in vietnam saigon street. I'm a vietnamese person and they tried to steal all your money out your pocket. It'll be great if you can bargain well
The guy that went up to clean your shoes was in on the scam. Its a classic scam where one guy distracts you when the other one steals. You just got really lucky, or unlucky.
I was walking near Ben Thanh market and i have a little tear on my vans from bending. Some dude just straight out held my foot and started gluing it, I’m not wearing socks and i felt the heat of the glue. Oh, i got fucking mad.
i know, no maaaney... i know, no maaney... This one is o the metallll... This is goooood oooonnnnnnnnnne and then tha wrinkling moooo 50 moo for ma co ca cola maaaaaan rofit
.Do some Jordans shoes hoodies shirts socks whatever man just do some Jordan apparel... the Jordan 4 Eminem encore would be sick! I love them but will never have $30,000 for them!
Good Ups to you Collin. Nice job mate! The 500 you paid (over-payed intentionally) for the sunglasses, was definitely a wonderful gesture. Those street vendors make such little money, it was nice to see you “flip the script” on the usual purpose of your show (haggling)! Cheers mate from Mandurah, Western Australia!
Usually I hate peoples that bargain this tough but I can see the spirit of it lol when they finally cave in to the price it’s like there’s an intimacy built between the two bargainers
Liitj Don’t feel bad for doing that man. God sees everything and I think he was just desperate/hungry. Don’t ever judge somebody off stuff like that because they may be in way worse situation than you. I think most thief’s are. I bet you taught him to be patient and honest 😁👍🏾 You did a good deed Brother. Do it more.
lol take it as a good thing that you paid the guy who tried to jack you more. At the end of the day he is the one who looked stupid trying to rob from a guy who actually helped him. If he as any decency left in him he would have realised how dumb he was.
Lol, get out of your bubble man. He's a professional pick pocket, he's gonna do it again. Collin said he wasn't even trying to sell the glasses. Guess why? He makes money by stealing. That's what people do in tourist areas.
Vietnam is a great place, the people there are nice and helpful. They build a great community. Don’t let the person selling the glasses and attempted to snatch his wallet fool you because most people aren’t like that. Vietnamese people are very kind and whole hearted people. -From a Vietnamese Person
veryANNEusual bargaining too much won't work here. We don't sell high prices for fake items. Lol um for what I know about retailing here in the Philippines we only add 10% to 20% of the wholesale price & that would be our retail price. So if he bargain too much, sellers will just let him walk away & not bothered lol. They better lose one customer than lose profits. 😂
some of them are really poor if you go to markets in outskirt or rural area. most of them (in those markets where he bought stuff) are not poor as they say and look.
hello, i come from vietnam, i think in vietam this price is suitable for people's income, young people can also access the street fashion style although they do not have much money, so they buy fake
Collin bro if u r reading u can buy any of these fake tshirts at 3-4$ easily plz dont give more.. I think they can buy 3 tshirts at a price of 1 which u pay i. e 8$
Advantage Bug Screens starring price in there means a price that they'll randomly state and wait for you to offer one way cheaper. at least that's what I got from watching his videos
I think because there can be no misunderstandings with price , because they are not good in english (like me ^^) And maybe are there somebody from france oder germany who doesn `t speak english.
This vid so funny xD I have some advice for you, in Vietnam if the seller has come down the last price with you then that means you can still offer the lower price like that, of course depending on your bargain skill. I'm just say that, but don't overdo it if the price is not too expensive, because they also have many bills to pay in their lives. Hope u will come again in Hanoi city next time ! xD
