Hi, when you applied for e visa, you had to select your exit port right? Are they strict about that, or we can exit from anywhere ? I know they are strict with the entry port.
We had stated Mocbai as our exit port. Not too sure about whether they're flexible about it. Mostly should be okay but best to check with a bus company in Saigon (WhatsApp number in video description) 🙌🏻
I have heard about Cambodia requiring Indian national to hold sufficient fund to enter the country. They are not taking it, it just that tourist must have enough fund to cover their stay. I have also heard of similar thing about Chinese and Indian going to Thailand which they ask airlines to check before departure if indian or chinese passenger hold $500 to $1000 . If you look like a rich businessman, they wouldn't ask you anything. It's a bit of a racial profiling for sure,i don't think they would ask American backpackers if they have enough money to cover their stay.

you are allowed to stay till 11:59pm of the expiry date. Beyond that it becomes an overstay with a fine or a waiver if the reason is fair.. depends on the authorities.
I had same experience in Aug 2023. I had all the necessary documents including usd. Still they asked bribe openly. I had to pay 30 usd. Very bad experience
I had assumed that Indian passport has an easy entry in south east Asia... And your previous entry to Cambodia was via air? Is the process different for air and land entry?
Yes, the Indian passport is eligible for a smooth entry. But in reality, some illegal immigration has led to a tough vetting process.. but some say that for the right "fee", even that is not hard for those ppl. And for land and air, same rules.

We've already mentioned this in the video: cash (no stt) and only flight (no bus). But these rules may have changed since then - best way is to reach out to the Cambodian consulate and ask if there are any new conditions!
As of today , I am in ho chi min city. I took a bus via an agency, to Cambodia where at the border , the Vietnamese immigration officer asked for 100 USD Bribe just for EXIT stamp. I was travelling alone. I have my flight from phnom Phen to Delhi on 20th December. What do you suggest ? I have never seen any RU-vid video saying that even for the exit port , 100 usd can be asked . Even if I give them 100 usd, what if Cambodians ask for other 100 usd. Damn. Thoughts ?
That's terrible! Many others did mention that the same thing happened with them at the Vietnamese gates. Did you consider going through the VIP lane at the exit?
Coming from Ho Chi Minh City, I have Chosen Moc Bai Land Border on Vietnam Visa Exit Pointm I have applied for E Visa for Cambodia and Chosen Bavet Land Border. I can easily pass through Via Bus?
Hey Vishesh! "Easily" or not is determined by the visa officer - if you have the approved visa and required documentation (like we explained in our case, in the video), there's very little reason why tourists aren't allowed 😅
Very interesting experience with immigration officials. Unfortunate that they treated you differently because you hold Indian passports. However I have seen a similar situation long back when we went to Canada for the US.

Hey Saketh! As long as you have the evisa and proof of your exit/return to India or your country of residence, you will not have a problem. Have confidence in being the genuine traveller that you are - when they see that, they will welcome you!
Bhaiya if we want to travel Cambodia only Krong Bavet from morning and return to same day with Cambodia visa (single entry VOA) is it possible and we will return to Vietnam same day in evening or night and suscribed ur channel
Visa runs have become increasingly difficult - suggest you take the evisa not VoA option. Contact the bus company whose whatsapp number's listed in the video for the latest info! 🤓
From many nationalities, they expect some tips, and it's usually small. However, many Indians told us that they were asked to pay more! One of them paid 500 Dollars! And when we went... you saw what they asked us in the video... 🙈
First I want to inform that if Cambodia does not invite Indian then why they are going there to be harassed and looted by the Cambodian Official. So boycott Cambodia and Cambodian in India. I was thinking a trip to Cambodia but seeing the video I shall never go there as I have already cancelled my journey tickets for Thailand.
Sometimes it is indeed very challenging.. but as we explained in the video, there's a reason why some nationalities are treated differently... But you're right. Genuine travelers must be welcomed nicely 🤓
