@@certifiedhistorynerd Even if i've listend to lots of 60's era music this one has missed my ear :) I listning to it now on Spotify and I recognize it a bit but yeah, thanks for the tip! I think your intro montage really gave the song some good justice. Cheers from Sweden!
Drew when you said the SOF fatigues come “fatigued” you’re mistaken. When I got my SOF fatigues I faded them myself. They’re darker when I first got them.
It was just filler footage since I couldn't find First ID urban combat footage. They did fight in Saigon during the Tet Offensive but I couldn't find any footage.
No poncho liner to sleep in the bush. No e-tool to take a crap with. Cpl. 0331 USMC Mike co 3rd. Battalion . 5th. Marines. 1st Marine Division RVN 1968-69.
Yes well this is for urban combat where you have no need for a shovel and you’re not gonna be facing really long periods of combat, this kit is a combat kit.
Sorry but you videos arn't that popular, I have commented before, As cool as the millitary is and war fasinating, War should not be glorified too much, because it usualy means guys dyeing quite young, actullay very young. sorry my spelling is not good, but keep that in mind.
Yes I know the point of reenacting is to honor those who have served and fallen, I’m very aware of the cruelty of war, I am not glorifying it, I am simply teaching it.
Wrong person/group of people to make this comment too, these are the people that respect it the most... reenactors are often subject matter experts and keep people informed on history @@user-jo8yr1zo9k
