Vietnamese local fashion is having a good time right now. I think a lot of local brands are coming up with quite original, interesting designs. Brands also range from fairly sophisticated and high-end to much more affordable. One of the reasons I like to snoop around looking for local brands so much.
@@comkver I don't think they export to the US (they are local brands after all) but if you want to I believe they all have English speaking customer service who would definitely help you out
I am noticing that a lot of these clothes really define the waist which I always look for in clothing. Maybe I should start shopping from Vietnamese brands 🤔
Yes girl yes! I'm currently living in Taiwan and I just can't find any clothes that I like cuz they are usually just so loose and I have a big frame so I would look so fat in those, they all follow Japanese style
Hearing the Vietnamese in the beginning was weirdly comforting. I'm German and we have a big Vietnamese population especially here in the east and one of my mom's oldest friends is from there so I grew up hearing Vietnamese a lot. Hearing Vietnamese reminds me of a lot of nice things because my mom's friends daughter is only a few months older than me so we also kind of grew up together and I was taken to places with the family a few times.

These are really cute! The drop waist on the first ones makes me think of the late 1910s and the 1920s, and it's just a really cute, but modernized nod to fashion history! The very last dress, the white one, is quite adorable, but for someone who is very much into historical clothing, I can't help but think "yes, a good chemise! Now just put on your stays or corset, pockets, a petticoat or two, and a bodice, and then you're good to go!"
These Vietnamese styles are so flattering on you. Even the pieces that didn't exactly fit were still so nice! By comparison to your other hauls I think everything was a win. Such a compliment to the designers.

You're so brave! I've always wanted to start a RU-vid channel promoting clothes from companies that are trying to help the planet and treat thier workers well! But people are so mean and if you don't fit the mold of a beautiful woman (big eyes, small lips, perfect skin) or a teenage girl, you get ignored.
@@erinnmackie3507 I know this comment wasn’t really directed to me but I just wanted to say that actually there are many people who are famous that don’t fit those standards. Sometimes by being unique, a person will get a lot more attention because of how they are “not following the standards”. Plus, I find that the standards are always changing so it really is kind of useless for a person to try and fit into those absolutely ridiculous standards. I hope that you will one day follow your dreams in starting a RU-vid channel! I can tell you that even though this internet is filled with many mean people, nice people overpower mean people. When I first started my RU-vid channel, I was also a bit scared of the mean people but I soon realized that the internet has many nice people too. Sorry for typing so much haha

@@erinnmackie3507 haha yeah Gen z is sometimes just a chaotic mess by being so bold lol and yeah that is very true but I have seemed to notice that the people in tik tok or any social media platform are more like that while in real life, people are more caring and try to be more helpful to the planet (I’m talking from my own experience btw)

I love how, while I do not wear dresses, and never faced a lack of pockets in my fashion "choices" but the moment you discover pockets in one of these dresses I'm instantly "Welp, 10/10 best dress. They got the one thing right to make a dress a good dress" and just feel this sense of victory? or something in the shared excitement of having pockets where there should be pockets.
I did not expect to pretty much love all the outfits. Usually only some of them are my style and the other ones are just cool or trendy in general. But these were all so pretty!!! I was especially shocked at the first one, since floral patterns and that colour isn't usually what I like _at all,_ BUT THAT SILHOUTTE AND THE SHEER MATERIAL WAS SO PRETTY I IMMEDIATELY WANTED IT EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT EVEN SOMEONE WHO WEARS DRESSES, LET ALONE SHORT DRESSES, THAT OFTEN.
