It's such a shame how our Vietnam veterans were treated so badly. I appreciate every veteran for defending our country. They didn't choose to enter these "conflicts", our leaders did that for them. We definitely need better leaders!

Well...they did lose so treat losers like losers I guess. Before you rage, the Vietnam was was an useless power glove and turns out it ain't fitting on USA's hand, just as Russia in Ukraine I guess, I hate war but I do believe those who go, hungry for blood in a war, should and must die in it. We don't need veterans, we need monuments for heroes sacrificing their life so the government stays rich and fat. Such losers.

@@robireday Well technically you chose to go at the start it was near the late end of the Vietnam war that conscription was introduced. And you say protected but in reality you just moved them away from the fighting because it was feared that they were Vietcong fighters.

3 issues, 1st. rambo has only been in prison for 3 to 5 years from the 1st movie and not 20.. 2nd. his mission was to do recon for US POW's in vietnam and not prisoner rescue.. 3rd. I don't think the girl's name is sara, her name is co bao..

And also he has a lot of trouble in his life, he struggled really bad with how he became after his war experience and it was good to watch how he worked through it with the help of his friend colonel trautmen. 25:12, depending on where you read the info, the back blast area from the rear of M72 LAW rocket launcher is 15m behind the LAW in a 30 degree cone, so firing that LAW from the Helicopter would have killed everyone on board and probably blown up the helicopter too. Not that most of the rest of the film isn't so far-fetched as to be unbelievable of course lol

No GI has ever defended his homeland outside the USA. They were all just tools of politics. Millions of GI's have fallen far, far from home for 100 years. Countries that they would probably never have visited voluntarily as normal people. It's always been about power politics... until today. I served my country for 14 years myself, but we defended our borders... nothing more or less. Defending my homeland (if necessary) is absolutely legitimate. But wanting to defend my home on the other side of the world is just nonsense.
