Not really shocked because I live in nearby Manila and we also eat larger lizards. It's not an everyday dish, and I personally have only had it once. But it's food.
@user-io2dv7no6u it's been long enough that I don't remember clearly, what I recall is that when we had it we cooked it in coconut milk, salt, vinegar, and ginger.

We actually don't use Siracha in Vietnam. Local brands (like homemade, available only in that particular town brands) are more popular. But from the look of it, a mix of fish sauce, brown sugar, molasses, and hot pepper sauce.

The closest to having eaten a reptile was frog's legs for me and I draw the line. I've eaten frog's legs once and that was it no thanks. It look like you enjoyed yourself eating it though so bon appetit.
