Great video. Just wasn’t sure how you entered the screen that shows the graph of the recorded part. It wasn’t visible on the video.

Click the JOG button, it will give you the wave format display.

Thanks I'm the one that asked. I had used just pushing record on vocals and for others to punch in. But playing guitar by myself and doing it was impossible. I bought the pedal now but still see a use for this. You're a stand up guy thanks again.

I'm using the silence function to erase noises from a recorded track but it won't allow me to erase anything less than 2 seconds (not 4 seconds) Help!

Yah, that is something that is engrained in the system, it has to be a specific length. But it should allow anything over 2 seconds to go. What you can try to do is use the limiter system and try to get rid of the little noises that way.

I find that as long as you keep your firmware up to date, there isn't any problems with the machine. I have recorded most of my releases on it and I do find it easy to use. If you want to save some money, you can look at the DP24 as well.

Hey man I have a question, I use guitar loops or I create one with a program that I have and import the WAV file into the tascam to make my songs. My problem is going to be trying to sync up the guitar track along with my recorded drum machine track to get that exact start point to the beginning of the song. Is there a way to accomplish this?

I would suggest using an outside application for this. The portastudio is great, but the editing functions aren't easy to do fine editing. Once you get it as you want, export that file and import it into the DP32.

If you want to, you can play around with the JOG PLAY button and fine tune where you want to put the loops.

Track edit would work. Insert the loop audio and play around with the "cut" feature to get it in sync.

How do you use effects send one and two for external effects how do you hook them up to an effect processor

It's actually quite easy. Connect the effect send into the effect processor input. The outs on the processor get plugged into the inputs. You can use the stereo bus to play it back.

Have you had any weird noise happening during fade outs when in mixdown playback? My DP24sd is doing it.

That I have not had. Is it a dirty sound? Maybe you need to get some contact cleaner for the faders.

If you are using any internal effects, they will sometimes make strange noises.

@@MikeFoerster I'm not. It's almost the sound of starved voltage during a fade out playback, ending with a phase-ish "zow" sound.

@@andhow8730 Now that is odd... I'd love to hear how that sounds. Are you using any effects in the stereo bus, internal or external? If you can send me a video on it, I'd love to see if I can figure it out.
