Beating the previous world record by 10 seconds! There is a strategy in Chapter 4 L7.2 that saves 11 seconds that I did not do here. So there is room for improvement but this was a pretty good time without it :)
i played this game yesterday and was curious to see what the speedrun looks like. was not disappointed! i'm mad i didn't think of 11:35 myself- it's such an elegant solution to the puzzle. congrats on the wr!
You don't bring the battery to the teleport, you bring the teleport to the battery ^^ Wonder how many people in the world fully understand this video .
Hitting rewind at the same time as you interact with the chair. When you finish your rewind, you can jump out of it because getting out of the chair gives you one!
It's a pretty difficult trick, I was fortunate to get it first try. You pretty much want to stop rewinding when the white block is just barely to the right of the question mark, almost completely overlapping it.
@@doesntmatter2750 yep, the strat I used in the video really only saves a couple seconds or so. the camera is much easier and safer so I would recommend that strategy. No problem!
The game is crazy but the "writing" is abhorrent, especially the Jessie dialogues which are absolute cringe fiestas. I turned off the voices audio like 2 minutes in the game and it's no loss by any means. Really a shame that such a game is polluted with millenial writing. 0:14 is on par with the Forspoken meme "I move shiit with my mind". It's so bad I wonder if it's the voice actor fault or the direction she was given. Also that kind of quirkiness has no place in a post apocalyptic setting, it just undermines the world building and makes it hard to understand the stakes. Again the game is brilliant but fuuck this writing and the people that came up with it.
