If you have that temperament, as a retail investor I feel your best bet is a deep value strategy, evangelized by tobias carlisle. I know I sound a bit like a bot its just a pet project to me.

This great Yactman owns Pepsi and Coca Cola, Microsoft and Oracle; and Fox News. That's why he gets paid millions. For making these choices that no one else can make.

Look at his funds, they mostly outperform since inception, that’s why he gets paid ‘millions’. 75%+ of institutional managers can’t achieve that. You talk about it as if it was easy, than go ahead and earn millions yourself. It’s all about the price paid. A shitty company can turn into a low-risk play if the price is right, and a wonderful company can be a high-risk investment if the price is wrong (Howard marks).

Such amazing content! I read a book with similar content, and it was absolutely mind-blowing. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint

It’s amazing that a company that is worth more than 1.5 T dollars can’t buy decent editing equipment and hire a good enough director/editor.

Oh boy... he brought up that he is a mormon and thats the best decision he ever made. I am done, he is probably a scam artist if he loves scam artists.

@if Mormons are the only remaining religion in America that still excommunicate their members. Don’t have to like or agree with them but at least cares about and hold a standard for their membership. I e if you leave your wife and 8 kids for a bimbo without taking care 💵 of them the Mormon church will excommunicate you and that will mean something. But that means nothing to you and it’s okay. JoM

@@johnofmalta so excommunication is good?
@johnofmalta
@johnofmalta 2 года назад
@ifoney1 Not 100% yes but pro excommunication nonetheless. The threat of excommunication is a form of social pressure. We all need social pressure to mind our p’s and q’s. The Mormons and the old world Jews have a very effective form of ‘excommunication’ to keep fellow Mormons and Jews in line. Before you vehemently object please understand the world is a big place and we not need agree with everything. Understand. Not agree. Best JoM

@@johnofmalta So you are pro excommunication because "they need to be in line" lol ok got it. I am pro death for all excommunicators and their wholehearted and partial supporters - I hope you understand, not agree, but understand nonetheless.

39:20 [about Amazon] "It's tough to justify the price." Amazon was $530 that day. It's gone more than 6x since then. This clown has no idea what he's talking about.

@@brandonschmetterer1250 apparently more than this fool. And you. My basis on AMZN is $512.93. Pro tip: if your name is "Schmetterer," never call out anyone's name. Dork

@@KidFreshie Truth is this clown has 3 billions because he's able to safely compound money over time even without AMZN while Kid Freshie and likes of him will fail miserably.
